I've avoided POG a lot as they have debts over $1m.Yes they hedge gold at a higher price.ABG and HOC seem to be the best I nearly also got ABG earlier in the week but didn't want overinvested with this tapering coming up..not so much now..

we know HOC,ABG and POG are making the big savings in costs.Yes OMI and AVM had the biggest rises but can also fall far more,and can they make many savings being smaller,I think not..Depends on your risk factor-also OMI got stuck a long while.The main markets are now shooting up to more records-even more ready for a 50% drop- highly dangerous there.Just a hint of no QE could sink that bubble..

gold had been below $1300 so up at least $60.Yes as stepptoe suggests not get too deep in but try to make a quick profit.Possibly we won't get a sustained rise as taperaing might happen later in the year no idea when next meeting is they can do that ?

-quite a few US/Canadian large silver miners are up a bit more than the gold ones I looked at,again DYOR.In HOC I begin down of course.I also have KGI down a long time.Reliable poster there itsaduster says it should improve well the next few months due to already-made adjustments as we know HOC also have done. With QE we might now have a month's window to enjoy in gold at least...we don't so far know when they will taper,I don't think they can know themselves and Yellen maybe coming in could force that to be held for a time.Of course the chairman can be outvoted often so not focus too much.Then the fiscal cliff coming up.GL

yes it IS true that only a BFS is required for NC/MP and CGG to succeed in their business plans which are aimed that way.Of course the royalties wouldn't come to AF/CGG unless production at Dutwa is achieved.IN FACT these people might exit selling their royalty rights and other riughts if they wanted provided at least the BFS was underway.It might not even need to be completed before they could do that.The correct timedexit with as much money as possible is the real trick then they needn't worry about Dutwa.AFE's long term stated aims are to do business elsewhere using money they can get from any deals.Not necessarily in mining.Which suits MP as he said he wasn't a miner.Yes you'd asssume NMC/MP and Coburg and added to them the ones who coughed up backing this placing would be in the know about a hidden plan.Shareholders here need either to trust them or trade their way out of this hopefully with profits or at least as few losses as possible.Though the spreads and dilution still make that quite hard.GL

They got away with a dilution but a big jump in SP.The money source is from those involved with company.If the SP falls back the shareholders will suffer the dilution anyway.All of this depends on the cred. of the people "in the know",otherwise it all goes up the creek.This is still equivalent to putting money on a horse...a quite big investor from outside with hundreds of thousands of $'s or even over $1000m eventually is required to get Dutwa running.And a few years before profits which should be good.The getting there though is the trick..GL.
