You are correct on that point,certainly in Bonds,things are hotting up.The situation now is volumes are rocketing but the most significant thing is that the bond interest results in losses of capital now to bondholders.For interest,you can access on ^TNX at yahoo uk finance the 10-year US Treasury Bond interest rate,which has been at about 2.6% last time I looked.Shorter duration bonds were giving down to about 0.4% only,for example the 1-year US T-bonds.However,the RPI inflation rate has been 5% and the CPI 3.1%-can also easily check these figures from govt. sources.Thus we see bond investors are now so scared they are prepared to LOSE money!

On the surface,some might regard this as a good share to buy if it goes to about 100p then sell where it is now,making about 10% or so ? A pity- though it should do better than that... Must confess at the moment I'd see that plan as having some sense.

I have lost from about 990p to 890p now,but still staying in this one long term.It might do very well in the recovery after the next depression coming up.Anyone for 2013 ? Lol.Anyway this is still a great share.Down at about 350p after the great fire in the warehouse about 18 months ago,they didn't give up then,so why give up now ? In those days, this SP would have been unbelievable. GL all.

Still keeping an eye on this one.It took a quick burst upwards but then has settled back again.India should have a vibrant real estate market even at the upper end.There are about as many educated well off Indians in India as in the whole of the UK.Those numbers are increasing.Of course inflation has affected things and lack of risk capital.Possibly the Hirandani (SP?) family have been cautious the last year.No point over-extending when it could go either way.You don't want a string of unoccupied buildings as white elephants.I would imagine they rely a lot on foreign investors like ourselves,who are subject to pressures these days of living costs and job insecurities.So HRCO take the backwash of this to some extent even if their business plan is good.

This boss sounds as if he might be another Philip Green in the making,abitious and talented,PG is now a multi-millionaire,even a billionaire according to the recent TV show about Monaco this week.A repeat I think I saw it before.Anyway would ASC now attract takeovers ? Who might be interested ? Would they resist this ?

may surprise some here but in the middle of the dot.com boom about 2000 we picked share winners by how big their p/e was.Yes of course most from that era bit the dust after 2001 but one best remembered was VOD,then also a rising company going all out for growth.Now it is a boring safe company with a dividend.I see a lot of VOD in this company.Yes there should be a fairly big correction here.Many new people can then come in.In the longer run this is still a winner.

yes we should absorb the lessons of Buffet.It is sufficient to find a good share and keep it.I don't have much in here.In fact after a sale today elsewhere,I have few shares in anything.I hope to stay in ASC long term,with the amount I have,I need a very good rise here to make it worthwhile.I expect the world situation to go quite nasty for a while soon,and ASC may not escape this.However I'll keep my stake in here.Sometime we will be celebrating...
