did you buy CNR today ? I like that but my pittance is in an ISA,so NYO maybe but Jibbo and others seem to indicate it's got only shorter timeframes for rises,the cash burn is too high.I also liked EMD but no ISA again,likewise with HUM.And BZT has a similar special dividend position but it might fall through in a year.No use.AHT has a super chart a 2.5 bagger in 6 months! It's becoming the engine room of my VPF-remember I'ver had no milk or oil windfalls lol.Might be something else or it could still be no choice lol.Quite nervier I'd forgotten what playing with real money is like hardly any deals for a year.And one month in the past I had a 100 deals sell/buy both !

See that even at the lowly AFE rating now,I have about 38% profit.Which helps cover other losses.I anticipate far more than that when I will be selling though.

from your spreadsheet it should be simple to add the S/D to the share total to give the % for CNE based back to 1.2.12.Any idea ?

it was said somewhere in event of Iran blowing up, that refining would be down but oil sales up,so balanced effects for large caps.However I think since new year most oils have generally been down for the Iran reason and others.Certainly CNE having sources outside Straits of Hormuz which might be blocked would be expected to do well!

yes always a drop on ex-div. ! All the present competitors in the VPF would have won last year hands down with their present scores!

I now see why AHT's progress wasn't as good for 2 weeks as it had been ex-dividend,now resumed its' climb hopefully lol.

I feel quite sure NYO will be higher by about mid-year.After that if they have got their JORC and mining licence their already fast cash burn might require at least another placing which maybe CEY might help in,in fact CEY might fancy a takeover in a year.However getting from developer to producer isn't easy so H2 might be a harder time or if the licence is delayed likewise.I've had that situation already with AGQ getting into production,though they hadn't used up as much cash as NYO seem to be.And NYO aren't even a year behind AGQ yet.I'm tempted still but might go for a safer if duller FTSE350 share like AHT.I have a lot of AIM mining exposure and can't take too many risks with more immediate money to my budget.
