well TSCO are the market leader in food online delivery but they don't make money from it and cannibalize their bricks and mortar supermarkets .we do make money because we have the most efficient model .TSCO/MRW/SBRY /ASDA all have legacy issues..ie too many big supermarkets .to have invested in the supermarket sector this past decade has been a loser and I can't see it changing any time soon
OCDO welcomes competitors into the online food delivery business because it establishes the market and helps it grow . .if we are doing it right (and better) then we have nothing to fear and everything to gain from the sector we choose to compete in .it's called capitalism.

ALDI teams up with Deliveroo in trialling home delivery from its Nottingham store .staff will put make up orders from its shop from a list of 150 items it is offering . so even Aldi feels it needs to be a part of the home delivery business . an admission that there is a growing demand for home delivery (but we do it better!)
poor old marks and sparks shareholders .touched for £1.85 in the rights issue to buy into Ocado retail......now @ 85 p and debt classed as junk .how many of our 'fallen angels ' are destined for the same fate .things seem to happen for Tim Steiner.....this Covid stuff is manner from heaven for OCDO(and me )
