well i understand your arguement about developing supermarket car parks...we've just had Costa's built on 2 local Morrisons but both Morrison shops are suffering from Lidl's and the move to internet shopping .i'm saying that say 10 years from now many supermarkets will have to be demolished because they are too damn big and better use could be made of these sites....housing for eg.

there isn't a supermarket in London that Tesco would keep if they could get planning permision for an added value project .the same for pubs /petrol stations etc .they are worth more dead than alive

the 4th industrial revolution gathers pace and OCDO are looking well placed to be a leader of change . Sentiment has changed in the share price ,duely noted

The stockmarket is the greatest discounting mechanism that we have .The closing price reflects the risks and rewards of owning Ocdo .Only time will tell ,but if this was a very serious risk the share price would be much lower than this

SBRY valued@ £4.4 .one day we shall be worth more than the big 3 combined

Walmart want out of Asda.....the business is valued at £6.5 b (for 15% of UK grocery market) .

the deal with Kroger is an exclusive deal for the US market .They had a good deal then and bought shares @ £8 circa . Hence a takeover is unlikely IMHO .M&S also had a very good deal but the world is in a different place now ...lucky M&S i should say

You couldn't buy a better script for internet food internet shopping......demand will keep very strong for a long time out .We are currently valued the same as TSCO. The market sees capital destruction coming to the old fashioned bricks and mortor model /only a question of time before something has to give....
