As for ECR, I agree that we need to be careful but I think there is plenty of profit there but, as with all miners, its a great share for the day traders which distorts any hope of a consistent pattern. Their presence though does add interest and, if one is lucky, opportunities. The Sierra de las Minas project is the one most likely to provide a reasonably quick profit, if it is sold. If the Board decide to take it into production, although probably more profitable in the long term, it would be quite a long wait before it got into production and would need much more funding, and a typical U shaped curve to the share price, but probaly from a lot above the present sp level. As for THEMAC its fate is tied to the US economy, so let's hope A.E.Pritchard is right! GL

Terribly sorry to hear you had leukemia: from what I understand the chemo is nearly as bad as the disease. Still, look forward to Dec. 11. I sympathise with you having to have 28 day injections. I've just started 28 day hormone injections for prostate cancer but they have promised that if I'm a good boy they will reduce them to once every thee months. Will think on your comment6 re ECR

Paul Hill seems to have got this one right. I'm a bit concerned as the consensus view seems to be that the best places to invest are the US and Africa! I'm afraid it might push prices up a bit too high for us poor folk to buy more!

Good news, but the company needs to watch the US market very caregully. I know the Chairman takes a poor view of those in the British NHS who buy from American competitors but has he considered the views and possible actions of his competitors in theUS. Indeed has the company considered what alternative products their manufacturing facility could produce if they were unable to access the American market? After the election anything could happen.

At present most of the trading here seems to be driven by rampers derampers, day traders and dubious information. Best we can hope for is that MA can keep the company going. No doubt , in the future we'll get to 5-6p but when is a matter for conjecture. Dream on by all means but I'm certainly not adding. I look at the metal prices and see no reason for optimism.

I'm sure this will turn out a profitable share, just unfortunately not in my lifetime!

It'll certainly hold the share price down for a while but, unfortunately, I can't see it being of any value to the motorist; mind it could help investors if it made the insurers a bit more efficient.

This latest fall inthe share price doesn't make sense to me. Our worst fears of a serious dilution of equity appear to be non existent thanks to the financing arrangements announced in the interim report. I agree with bugsbacon's analysis. It is interesting that share prices only seem to be affected by the high profile news in the media e.g. Iraq has dropped out of the news, so the share prices of the oilers operating there are recovering, is Pakistan less stable? I doubt it so I shall be sticking to this one in the expectation that in 7 years time it will be a nice little earner!

This company has the problem all AIM companies have, obtaining finance in the growth stage. This has been exacerbated by management problems in the past. I hope that thr Board's prediction for the 2nd half come off. So far I have become disenchanted with the company having accrued serious losses. It has a lot of potential but needs very skilled management. Hopefully we have that now!

I find this incredible! My son told me the Chairman was a great boss so I bought some @ about 80p, as we all know the price slumped and I was a bit unhappy but as the Chairman was still relatively new I stuck with it. My only regret is that I didn't fill my boots when the sp was low. Full marks to the Anite team who must themselves have been a trifle dispirited in a very hostile financial world.

This is great news, with the German backing there should be no problem with finance in the foreseeable future.
