Yes PHE have brushed this off as being of little importance, but the combustion chamber is at the heart of this complex kit, and to have to go to another supplier at this stage may well induce delay. No one is going to drop everything to get a new chamber to PHE on the original schedule. It involves ceramics and special steels, and these do not just come off the shelf. We will see.

I think the (easy) assumption was that AGL would very rapidly get taken up by clinicians, but this uptake remains slow, and at present progress is on the back of basic research, where its promise is huge. Note the rather coy admission that the recent RNS gave that the new platform was for research use only. I do not think research tools need FDA approval either. Remember also that it only has approval for Ca breast at present. Approval for use in other malignancies will be sought - viz ovary and prostate- which will increase the use of Parsortix greatly. We all thought the sky was the limit when AGL was 140 p . Sadly no!, but I think we are now headed in the right direction albeit more slowly than we hoped.

Depressing There is no mention of the DMG in this report. Mention of the feedstock testing unit being made by an other firm to be completed in Q! 2024, but where is the DMG?. Where is the finance for the DMG? No mention of this either. Is progress so slow that there is nothing to say, or has PHE lost its focus, or both ? Is PHE to become an engineering services outfit instead? " Announced new Business Strategy in the Annual Report to develop revenue streams through provision of engineering services and being actively involved in developing capital projects using project finance methodology."

Although the departure of Keith might be for a host of reasons including ill health, I think he was over parted as CEO and one hoes that his replacement is an improvement.

The RNS confirms my worst fears. As rather coyly stated at the bottom of the RNS, this is a research tool at present, and despite all the hype, I cannot see AGL making serious money in the near future, if ever. Take over would only be for pennies over present SP.

I had nothing against Dr A, although some of his opinions (to which he is entitled) were somewhat over sympathetic towards PHE. But the relationship with Swazer made me wonder if they were somehow in cahoots; viz this recent rant (29th August)
