Someone is going to be holding a short position that YA are going to "swap" and balance the books. They wont have held the short so 'technically' fine.
That or i'm making stuff up. Probably should go home!
If you listened to the call yesterday you would know that the board are currently discussing a buy back as the share price is so low. It does mean that it's possible, could just amount to nothing but free capacity of £400m, would buy a massive chunk.
That is why I still have the other tranche idly waiting. This why was an average down anyway. Bought at 0.149 sold at 0.155, neutral trade. Leaving the other chunk incase it goes crazy, average is 0.8 in that
I bought in with some free capital. Currently up £150, so I would say yes. Minus the £40 of trading fees. I'm expecting it to jump up to £10 before I chuck a stop loss on. There is a class action suit coming in against MW for market manipulation. Should push it up back to previous levels. Broker Jefferies has just issue a buy targeting £24. Go figure :)
They can't close the short as the report is technically market manipulation, so they've got to take the hit or try and keep at a neutral gain. You can't release a report of false claims and misinformation and profit from a short position. Definitely a court case coming.
