Just a thought here. Why does the value of a £15m case impact the share price by £1bn...circa 60 times the impact.

Even if that was completely negated and Burford had to pay double back the impact to the share prices would be a couple of percent.

This fiasco is massively overdone, £400m in cash speaks volumes...as others are worrying about the value of case worth less than 10% of that.

Trading Volume is low. There were definitely some attempting to drop this on the open. If it holds at £8 we should see it climb up to £9 iver the day.

Lets see how this day plays out. I would expect a fewtree shakes

Interesting to see a large volume of cancelled trades...Maybe BUR were right about the spoofing.

If you're taking a mineral play for batteries. Graphite is probably not that best move. Lithium or Manganese or even Cobalt might be the best play.

9% up, would have liked to have seen a double digit rise, hopefully this is what is to come in the next few days. down on the open, nice rise over the day to finish 10% up.

Looks like we are about to shoot past 830. Happy I bought more this morning. Gutted I didn't get in lower but hey, can't complain with almost a £1 rise per share!

It seems to have gone quiet here. Is everyone bored now the volatility has decreased.

I think the announcement of a shareback will rocket this up and until then stay somewhere between 750 and 900. Buyback rumours will push the price up into four figure mark which is where we'll see the next wave of sellers.

The share price falls. Absolutely amazing. In every other company when a director/s buy the share prices flies. There is something else at work here.

I was expecting a rise and then for it to fall. Strangely enough the rise wasn't as high as I expected and the fall was a lot bigger! Not great!

This has been caused by everyone selling and allowing shorters to get into. Pretty likely to bounce off 750 here and go back up to 850-900 region before retracing again.

Looks like we'll have a trading game on our hands!
