What planet are you on with a comment like that?? Renewable energy is the cheapest generation source out of all of them. No new nuclear plants have been made cheaply this century with the exception of the state funded ones in France and even then they were over budget. Fossil fuel - coal is being decommissioned globally and the global supply chain for gas has seen significant disruption.
Now if you were to comment on the battery element of this then fair as it's simply just a vague add on, something I'm personally not impressed with and they could easily partner with something to assist with the correct sizing - hell I'd do it for them
About right for a 1 hour. There are many variables, and you get economies of scale too so 5 mw will cost more than a 50 mw on a £/mw basis. 2hrs is close to £750k/mw but both are coming down with prices of battery cells dropping quickly
Lots of folks selling post christmas discount I reckon. Would surely see an uptick from retail as the weather gets warmer and everyone realises they just need to spend £1,200 to save 33% on wine purchases that they can then sell at a later date for similar buy price. Not a bad option tbh - either way Chapel Down win through increase in SP and increase in sales.
Probably a pump and dump, share raise? I doubt the summit has anything to do with as GSF had representatives there but that's down for the day so far.
Unless this is the insiders knowing something the rest of us don't.
Green hydrogen is a load of rubbish. So many countries looking at this over the last 5-years have now realised it's not viable until you've got the surplus renewables which most are targeting dates between 2030 and 2050. Hydrogen is "useful" but nowhere near in the quantities they think it is and not at the cost point new project developers are using for their investment cases. We should be looking to divest that one as soon as possible!
Got mine too - anyone know what's happening with the rest of their shares...there's a few interesting ones in their portfolio that I'd like to have added to mine. GGP can't be their most significant holding surely.
