Should get busy soon as more get on board before the 4 back to back Drill campaign starts. MATD is currently way undervalued while other explorers keep rising without any meaningful news. This wide gap in MCap should narrow pretty soon & might take some by surprise. Florida, think Farm In will also come into play soon after Snow Leopard or Wild Horse strike. MATD Won't be selling their share cheap either. Bishand, hang in there, should see 20p soon.

Degsy, 28 Billion barrels is the upside case before applying recovery factors and COS. You need to quote low, mean and upside case and then apply the chance of success (COS) and then recovery rates to put it in perspective. No point quoting just one number to ramp it up. Remember COPL Offshore drill in Nigeria which was operated by Exxon. Yes Exxon the super major. Despite 3d the Offshore Nigeria drill failed. Share price crashed about 80% when it was a duster. COPL has not recovered since.

Manro, All good mate. Looking at the news article that Loz786 provided, looks like Mongolia is in transition stage trying to strike the right balance between both Russian and the Chinese. Until Mongolia becomes self sufficient in its own domestic Oil production, they have to continue importing oil from Russia to meet its own daily demand. Chinese don't have any spare oil at all and hungry to get there hands on whatever they can. Also Chinese own oil production is declining annually around 7% from the very old fields. Hence NEW discoveries are a must for Mongolia to become Net exporter of Oil to China in coming years. Huge oil demand from Asia at there door step in the absence of any major oil discoveries in the last decade. Mongolia should be saving approx $2Billion annually once the new Oil refinery comes online. That saving in oil import bill adds about 10% to Mongolia's GDP as per Govt. own estimates. MATD is right at epicentre of this significant shift and got a massive role to play here benefitting both Govt and Shareholders.

Bishand, Not sure who said it is done deal? MATD needs to strike oil. But the chances of striking oil are pretty good. That is based on thick, rich oil. Shale rocks in 'Lake setting' and additionally 2D and 3D data interpretation. Same geology as China bodes really well. If Chinese have explored across the border and found over +100 Billion barrels, then Mongolia can mirror multiple Billion barrels in due course. Pretty positive about MATD role in achieving the dream for Mongolia as a whole. Time will tell how much oil MATD find in 2018 and 2019 and beyond.

2010PM, Agree. Feel the same, going by previous Operational Updates, MATD seem to group news on multiple fronts in one RNS. Next week is my guess, no issues if it is few days here & there. Interestingly lot of boxes should get ticked on Multiple fronts. I am expecting to see: (1) Visas granted - drill team on its way. (2) Drill pad ready. (3) Rig to reach Drill pad soon. (4) Spud dates. (5) Wild Horse permit also granted. (6) Block XX - drill contractor shortlisted (7) 3D - further structures highlighted. So lot to look forward too. Would welcome Monday RNS.

MCap should catch up here in one quick scoop. Agree currently way undervalued when you compare to other explorers. Not even £110m we reached last year and this year MATD is at even more advanced stage, with 4 fully funded drills coming up soon. Should be sitting at 25p minimum in my view. Don't be surprised if this does +100% jump soon after next RNS in double quick time.

Interesting, No one knows what % will BPC retain if the potential Farm In deal happens. Simple fact is higher the % retained, higher will be BPC share of exploration costs that BPC will have to fund itself going forward.

Have to say Loz786, you done well to manage expectations. Almost there now. When I look around AIM right now in terms of the size & multiple drills just a few weeks away, nothing comes remotely close.

I know there are lot of scenarios. Realistically speaking even 10% share for BPC to retain will be good, but will cost them to raise £6-£7m of funds at minimum to pay for their 10% on that first drill, whenever that happens. Exploration costs for deep offshore wells are around £60-80m each if I remember correctly from BPC quotes. Unfortunately nothing is free in this world. Let's see how Potter works through the numbers.

Yes, waiting for official RNS soon on Visas. No brainer really, otherwise why would MATD have already started drill pad construction & gave notice to mobilise Rig to Sinopec. Might get Visa Update along with Drill pad now ready RNS early next week. Looks like lot of news getting packed in June ahead of Spud.

Think dilemma Potter has got is how much share of the license to give away? If he wants free carry then you could lose around 75-80% of your license share. If you retain 50% then BPC will need to raise funds to fund their share of the Exploration costs and these Offshore wells are quite expensive. At the same time he does not want to p155 off the potential partner. Tricky balancing act.

News is due anytime. Getting closer each day. When it lands, you will be paying a bigger premium for sure as Supply/demand kicks in. I am not touching my Holding until 25p minimum. Happy to wait, but it will happen.

Little more volume and Buying pressure and we should be well on our way. Why settle for 5% profit when you can achieve more than 50% in quick time.
