bigbench, We know what happened last year run up from 9p to 38p. Lot of folks missed out on Lions share of the profits as the run up was real fast.

Sundaysun, If it happens then good, but I seriously doubt that happening when near term news is on MATD Spud next week, in just few days. AIM punters look for near term Price catalysts.....we all know the score how AIM works these days. ATB.

JohnH, Spud is not fully priced in my view. Think could be some remaining flippers offloading few today. Once gone, you could easily have a +25% to +30% day on Mon/Tue next week. Won't be unusual for MATD with small number of shares free Float. Also seeing some correction trades from yesterday being put through.

Rosolanor , That chart looks great. MACD in bullish mode is what I track mainly, amongst other bits. That for me is Entry Validation. Many thanks for sharing. On the cusp here now.

Why would this get to 4p when we still about 4 weeks away for Close period? Any temporary jump will only attract further profit taking in my opinion.

JohnH, If MATD was too high risk for them, then those Institutional Investors would not have agreed to come to the presentation. Mike Buck is a known name in the City circles with proven track record of finding multi-Billion barrel discoveries in his past role. Think about it...they will be in attendance coz they like the story and the massive Upside. MATD is the only Mongolian Oil explorer (excluding Sinopec & PetroChina) embarking on such a packed 6 drill campaign, effectively backed by Mongolian Govt. who are keen to set up domestic oil production for their first Oil refinery, work on which started last week I believe. In my opinion.

JohnHenry, There was only 35% allocation as someone mentioned yesterday. Don't see any overhang. MMs dropping the Bid to grab cheap shares to resell back higher. They can only source stock in the Open market, creating volume along the way. That is their business model.

Before Spud to Institutional Investors. We could see Buying from Fund Managers next week and they don't buy small Qty.

US price last year hit 45 cents, while U.K. touched high of 38.75 pence. Granted we have double the shares in issue now.....,as a proxy UK price at par now would be closer to 20 pence. But wait....we are drilling now 6 wells, starting with 'Snow Leopard' in just few days. I would expect last year Highs to be taken out as further momentum kicks in. The only way is Up...yeah baby.

Yep. MATD about to go into overdrive soon. Recent events here remind me of the GKP story. If I remember correctly, GKP raised funds around 9p just before drilling into "Shaikhan"......,.the Multi-Billion barrel 'Onshore' oil discovery. It jumped to 80p within days, then to £1.75 and became the AIM darling stock at the time. Exxon Mobil takeover rumours then further pushed it to £4.25 at its peak. If all goes to Plan, we could see a few of those "Shaikhan" type Multi-Billion barrel discovery wells. 10p will be distant memory soon.

Which is 10.75p Should Gap up in the morning.
