That would hammer the share price down big time.....as BPC in that scenario would be forced to raise funds from market to fund the drill cost OR risk losing their licences from failure to honour work commitments. I do not think anybody here wants that outcome.......that would be worst case scenario.

Degsy, I am upto date with all the details mate. Need Deal confirmation to move this higher in a meaningful way. Until then traders will play this within a range.

Oilbell, Well done on your 4p call. TBH I did not expect it to hit 4p on no news. First 3 month period I believe expires in Aug. Generally speaking, Farm Out deals can take long time to agree deal terms that are considered favourable to both parties. Key question is: How much of the licence are BPC willing to give away for a free carry & to keep the potential party at the table? Fact is BPC is negotiating from a weak financial position and solely relying on Farm In partner to come on board to fund and drill first well sometime in 2019, if a deal is struck sometime this year in my view. Short term I see a reversal here due to profit taking from traders who follow technicals as it is Overbought with RSI 83. In my opinion off course.

But from memory 70 days estimates has built in contingency and Rig move between Snow Leopard Drill pad and Wild Horse Spud location being a 'Turn key' contract with Sinopec. Sinopec website quotes record drill times have been achieved ranging from 7.25 to 7.42 metres / hour. Using average drill rate of 7.335 metres / hour and 12 hour day, TD 3350 should be hit in just about 38 days. Snow Leopard as we know will test 5 targets from single well en-route to TD3350. As a rough guide shallow targets, let's say 1250 metres or earlier should be hit in first 14 days.

Maestro, Offshore deep well drill costs are much higher than that, roughly around $45-$50m per well.

Sundaysun, Need to get your facts right before jumping to accusations (won't be the first time). I have a small holding in Bpc but I am Overweight in MATD. I compared MCap for both BPC and MATD with relevant 'Facts' as things stand today. BPC £65m MATD £68m Usual suspects been pumping BPC on Farm In hope. Simple fact is that BPC is not funded currently for a single drill. Just highlighted what happened to GGP when folks were saying Newmont JV is done deal....Ggp price crashed 80% when Newmont walked away. These are all facts. BPC is high risk currently as they got nothing to fall back on if Farm In deal does not happen and BPC will be back to raising funds. I might lose a little bit there, but that is ok and my own choice. MATD is fully funded for 6 drills - Fact. Farm In deal will be a bonus here.

What if the Farminee finally decided to Farm In and Spud is delayed by 1 day to sign on that dotted line? Speculation off course but company did say in most recent RNS....cannot rule out 'Farm Out' deal before Spud on favourable terms. If yes, then fire works...will find out sooner or later. OR Do folks think any Farminee might jump in soon as first Oil shows ?

Generally you get RNS next day after Spud. Mongolia is what +8 hours ahead. My guess is they Spud Monday, and we get RNS Tue 7 am ahead of Meetings and Conference call. Give or take +/- a day.

potential getting tapped into soon. MMs cannot keep it this low for too long. Nothing else on AIM as exciting as MATD 6 drill fully funded campaign about to commence with one of the lowest MCap....Will be a nice journey.
