Look at the other 2 UT trades (4549 + 1 = 4550).

4550 UT was the one on both LSE and moneyam.

You can chillax now. Its nothing to get excited about.

I can see that 4:35 UT trade but that is just the end of day MMs balancing trade.

1 Qty trade or Code 1 (as some refer to on AIM), happens during market hours NOT after close.

Hope you are not calling the UT trade as the 1 trade?

You can mock 'petro matad' stock all you want mate, but that could just be the 1 single share that could recover ALL of your losses, with Shell and other Super Majors waiting in the wings....drilling multiple wells...yet at such low price. Time will tell.

Scully, Small UT trade was at 2p......and the other one looks like late reported trade from the morning, reported after hours. Spread into the close was: 1.5 - 1.9

If Chinese got 100Billion barrels, then surely with same source rocks & geology, Mongolia must be sitting on same or even larger reserves once you add the prospectivity from deeper layers.

InterestKing, Yes. It's a dilemma. Short term pain for long term gain. I am quite sceptical about Govt behaviour and having messed up the investment climate as they seem far too focused on keeping their clean beaches. They have played a negative role in this whole process in my opinion, otherwise we would have already had wells drilled there.

Mirhadi, You can forget about merger or takeover at this stage, if you are thinking of making a quick return. First & foremost priority for company is to secure funding Or farm Out, to keep it going. Placing might be a quicker route with some sort of certainty, albeit will be heavy dilution but at least secures the first drill. Starting farm Out talks again, will take time and provides no certainty if Deal will be agreed OR how long will it take. We all know what just happened.

This spread is small compared to some other AIM stocks, some of which have 20 - 25% spread.

Agree. Being short here is not a good strategy. Let's see what Macquarie come up with. Need to get the EA sorted soon to remove any uncertainty. More chance of getting a deal done once EA in place in my opinion.

MickR, Do you not know the difference between asset-based financing & non-asset based financing ? (1) Asset based is Farming out your W.I. in the licence. (2) non-asset based financing is obtaining external funding from finance institutions...
