MMs been playing with Spread for weeks to try and grab shares getting some to sell before taking it back up again. Only 100m free Float about.

To make thing worse, there is only about 100m shares in Free Float. So when this gets going, you won't be able to catch it...

Continental Gold who are also a shareholder in OMI have an $860m NPV for 3.7 Moz for their 'Buritica' gold deposit just few kilometres away from our Anza high grade Gold deposit. Newmont bought c.20% Equity stake in both. Continental MCap c.CAD$500m. Upside for all shareholders at OMI is absolutely phenomenal from curent £13m MCap???

Lot of folks wasting time chasing rainbows elsewhere, when biggest Upside is right here at OMI with tiny £13m MCap. This should have been 20p at this stage imo. No brainer entry price even at 13p which should be re-tested soon.

Even a 5 Moz , resource value at Anza would be valued at $6 Billion at $1200/oz. With AISC costs c. $500/oz in the region and Gold forecast of $1700/oz next year, you can see the built-in value at Anza for 100% ownership to OMI. Market has not yet cottoned on to the potential Take Over price at all which is miles north of 9p.... MCap £13m ??? Multiply that by 20,30, 40 depending on at what stage Offer is made. Price was £3.00 back in 2006. This will obviously attract the attention of Barrick who just got bigger after tie up with Randgold.

Yuri, Newmont would have this Up and running in no time. They need to replace their declining gold production from their other mines. I don't think Newmont is even going to wait for Phase 1....they will strike a deal to take WHOLE of Anza deposit out of OMI 100% ownership ASAP imo.

what sort of rise can we expect here on Govt ratification? Hopefully it comes in well before Christmas.

I think approval is more or less a done deal in my opinion. All Govts are on their case to get the finger out. 3-4p would be great. Think the parties might start with 2.5p low ball offer. Bidding war might take it to 3.5-4p range...who knows

MMs might let this go soon after RNS, in my view. They kept it in a range yesterday despite all the buying. Only 300m shares in issue. This can move very fast.

My guess is very much so and at very High grades too, making the potential resource size much much more valuable for all holders. Even if Newmont paid £250m to take over the whole deposit, it would be mega cheap for them. With Gold price forecasted to go on another bull run, profit margins from low AISC c$500 per Oz could really swell as wide as the Grand Canyon....

Same metal rich Andean Cordillera highly prospective belt passes through from Peru to Colombia. No wonder in 19th century Colombia was worlds largest gold producer. Newmont seem to be on a Buying spree in Colombia.
