Excellent work Professor. Continental Gold MCap c.CAD$500m. Their Buritica Gold deposit has NPV$860m using I believe just $1200/oz Gold price for 3.7 Moz. With Gold forecast of $1700/oz next year by JP Morgan and Deutsche bank, that should become lot higher than $860m. OMI is significantly undervalued any way we cut it......no brainer. And NEWMONT is in also.

Hahaha.... Could it be the time it takes to ship or transport Multiple Rigs to Anza deposit drilling site. Next RNS could simply be....they resumed drilling the APTA extension zones & Charascalla with 5-7 Rigs being deployed initially. Might also bring in additional Rigs depending if they want to 'Fast track' things.

If you managed that price then good for you. I picked some around 0.42 I guess that drop might have been very brief.

Just a thought.... could it be that Market is adjusting and need to absorb the extra 360m shares that will be issued to Ruyi? who will then own 53.7% of the enlarged share Capital which would be about 670m shares (310m currently). MCap would rise to c.£17.5m after 360m are shares issued to Ruyi.

Until recently Short positions in Gold had hit peak... Some Money managers have started to trim short positions in Gold and going Long now. Italy issues alone can blow out European markets. US deficit at its highest.....big storm building.....,before Gold storms Upwards out of nowhere. Barrick Gold timed their tie up with Randgold at just the right time....normally these type of deals come at the bottom of the cycle.

Agree OMI looks like Solg2.........in progress.

...comparison with Solgold is defo more appropriate as OMI could also see similar style re-rate like Solg from the time NewCrest took initial 10% stake in SOLG.

Also same region....Peru, Equador, Colombia....all on the same highly prospective belt.

SOLG re-rate from 1p lows > 46p high. (current MCap £620m)

OMI current MCap £13m..........WTF

Newmont already own c.20%......they just need make an OFFER for the remaining 80% shares.

Any low ball offer would most probably be rejected by BOD and rightly so.

Do Newmont go Hostile then?....and start buying in the Open market to take it directly to Shareholders?

You have to take into account over 3.2 Billion shares in issue at Ggp....with risk of further dilution.

At OMI free-float is just 100m shares.....hence the Upward mover here is very pronounced. FULLY funded also by Newmont.

OMI has not even broken out yet.....may be soon as drilling re-starts.......Market will eventually play catch up here....always does.
