We are also waiting for an update on BLOCK VII farm out negotiations.

I just want to know how many billion barrels are sitting in our Block VII waiting to come out.

Same geology as the multi-billion barrel producing Oil fields on Chinese side of the fence.

Similar set up to our Block 20 with same geology and oil fields extending from Petrochina blocks 19 and 21 into our Block 20.

Expect BIG announcement before the Investor presentation next week.

The fact CEO and Management present for Q&A is a new one. Happens only if there is some BIG announcement and Q&A on the back of it prior to getting Shareholders approval.

With upcoming domestic refinery, they need production ramped up to 30,000 bood and to meet daily domestic Oil consumption.

Petrochina production has declined to approx 17,000 bopd. Petrochina can fast track production ramp up just in time to makeup the shortfall.

Apply bit of intuition and hindsight and you will get your answer.

My own gut feeling is Petrochina will most likely step in to fast track wells in Block 20 to take it to the 10,000 bopd to make up the shortfall to get to 30,000 bopd to feed the domestic Oil refinery.

Petrochina own production has been falling from 25,000 peak years to around 17,000 bopd now as they been extracting Oil from their Blocks 19 and 21 just across the fence. Estimated 2 billion barrels on their side. Similar amount to unlock in Block 20 (PetroMatad).

What price tag can we expect ?

$300m - $400m

20p / share would be pretty good I reckon.

PetroMatad get cash rich.

Grow Renewables side with strong premiums.

Agree. No news is good news. I personally think Heron-2 should add another 100 or 150 bopd to our production.

Next RNS update will be interesting to gauge 2026 production ramp up and future oil wells to be added from both Gazelle and Heron oil fields.

BOE and US CPI figures have always been massaged for years. Real inflation rates on the street are DOUBLE to what they publish. You just need to check prices of items in your weekly grocery list to get an idea of the inflation damage over past 20 years.

Anyway that was just one option. MATD is now on firm footing with production revenues coming in which are set to grow lot higher as more oil wells are brought online.

PetroMatad following same pattern like SOCO International back in 2005 before Petrochina bought them out for $93m which in today's money terms would be more like $300m+

Soco started out slowly and had only reached 500 bopd when Petrochina made the offer.

Gazelle-1 flowed upto 460 bopd but was adjusted lower to 200 bopd (for now). Expect that to be adjuster higher before Gazelle-2 and Gazelle-3 are added.

Heron-1 currently producing 150 bopd

Petrochina after taking Blocks 19, 21, 22 from SOCO Intl ramped up production to 25k bopd (at peak production) from 50 wells averaging 500 bopd per well.
