Agree. Good post. Also one of those Rigs was operating till end of Dec 18...not far to move to Heron. So would seem to be just agreeing the terms before signing on the dotted line. Weather warming up too. So could Spud in April...would not rule out.

Owned by Petrochina producing 20,000 bopd for so many years. Even if we take just Block XX to be 10% of what Petrochina is sitting on, then MCap here could be well over £1 for 230 MMbo at $35-37 profit share per barrel. 225m barrels @ $36 profit per barrel is: $8.1 Billion..... Based on $90 oil price. So even if we scale it down to $70 oil price, you can see where this could go.

Not touching this fekker again. Glad MATD raised a big chunk of cash and now sitting on $23m cash about to drill high 75% cos multiple appraisal wells. Hope to recover all my Bpc losses from MATD. GLA staying in or feel they are stuck. I can feel the pain...such is life.

No other oil explorer cashed up like MATD with $23m cash and drilling 'Multiple' appraisal wells right next door to producing oil wells and 2.25 Bln barrel oil field. Targeting overall c. 700 MMbo. Current MCap too low for such great risk/reward. Other oil explorers hit high MCap over £300m at their peak and we sitting at £35m? Price should soon move into a higher bracket as operations start. Normally price moves ahead of events.

I think it's time folks start looking to the future and not fixated on the past. Market re-rates on future potential & outlook not past results...if you grasp this simple concept, then you would do very well. Risk / reward here has never been this good and fully funded. Early monetisation from oil revenue would put this price in rear view mirror...simples.

is significantly Undervalued with half of MCap just being cash balance.....crazy. Other oil explorers got no cash and targeting much smaller resource....with some not even drilling until who knows when....yet have a higher MCap than MATD... That is insane

Not going to see any deal here without the Environment Permit/ approval imo. No one is going to farm in without environmental clearance....simple business common sense. Yep...mean recoverable is about 1 bln barrels but we are so far away from drilling before we even know what is down there and most importantly how much is recoverable. BPC need a partner to pick up the exploration drilling costs as they don't have the cash to go it alone. Imho. Dyor.

Big bench, I had a small £2k punt there also. Never mind. MATD is in strongest position it's ever been with $23m cash and 'Multiple' Appraisal wells lined up. Smart money should soon be coming here.
