Yes Manro. Back in 2010 price rose to £2.10 on oil shows with only about 150m shares in issue. Now with 600m shares in issue, we could zoom 50p on that basis. Beauty is we got 2 simultaneous Rigs in action this time around. So twice the suspense and Double the Upside from both North and South of Block 20. Price could start creeping higher pre-Spud with +10p defo on the cards in my opinion. Then 15-20p range half way through drilling. Price generally moves higher in anticipation of drill results. Any leaks of oil shows and you would know..."Eagle has landed"...as this would Zoooommmm higher in no time.

Coming up. Personally don't have time these days to jump around from stock to stock. Bloe might be a small producer but the field is too small. MATD on the other hand targeting c.100m barrels from just Block XX initially. Further follow on Appraisal wells from disciveries here would more than double the oil estimates here. PetroChina have developed their side of the oil field into 2 Billion barrels. All this is on top of potential Upside from each of the Fox or Veliciraptor each with estimated 200m barrels. All 100% owned by MATD. When this moves, it would leave all other junior explorers in rear view mirror. Just sitting tight for next few months for the mammoth rewards.

Heron-1 and Gazelle-1 both literally on the doorstep to Petrochina Block 19 producing oil wells. Soco International back in 2000 hit oil on both first wells in Block 19. PetroChina were pretty savvy to have bought the whole block from Soco for only $93m when oil price was around $20-25 per barrel. Petrochina knew the prospects here before turning it into 2 Billion barrel oil field today. MATD on the cusp of really exciting times here.

Agree Shibs. Easy 100% from here in my view. Would take it to just 10p. Beyond next 2 months, I see this as 10x Bagger or more on successful oil strike on either Heron OR Gazelle OR both wells given their proximity within just 1km from producing Petrochina oil wells for many years just across the fence. Hence high 75% COS Appraisal wells. Little more patience here could really turn out to be life changing. GLA

Some here done no research. They had $23m cash balance end of Dec 2018. All 2019 drills are fully funded. They strike Oil at Heron, Gazelle. Red Deer this year, then next Fund raise for 2020 would be at over 50p....which I will not mind at all.

DQE is subsidiary company of PetroChina. Good enough for me. I believe DQE was the drilling partner for Soco International who were bought out by PetroChina. Soco were the ones who discovered Oil in Block 19...that has been producing 20,000 bpd for PetroChina

Not necessarily. I know business in Africa is done little differently than in Europe or US. Lot of African countries are opening up for Fireign investments after learning from their past mistakes. Collaboration OR take over from existing operators in the region also on the cards down the road once operations start.

Once the 2 Rigs are sorted...soon hopefully Appraisal wells with high 75% COS. Little patience required...that's all.

Has the signed petroleum agreement been sent to the cabinet ? They said in Oct 2018....is being sent. Company said they have resolved all outstanding issues and signed a revised Petroleum Agreement with Ghana Govt. for the highly prospective Tano 2A Block. Might get an update soon.

Agree with Manro and others feeling the same. Rig contract should have been signed off and ready to go. My own view is that, initially they were going to use 1 drill but may be half way through the negotiations, management decided to use 2 drills simultaneously to get more done during the 2019 drilling season. Hence negotiating amended terms. Could be wrong. Just speculation. Silver lining here is that whenever they start drilling there should not be any dependency on 1 rig to finish the job first before moving it to the next drill spot. e.g. If there is a strike on Heron-1, then they would most certainly be doing Heron-2 and Heron-3 at the same time. So overall we don't lose time. Same would then apply to Gazelle-1 and Gazelle-2 and so on...

Ghana is open for business and trying to raise their world standing in attracting investment. Things to get interesting soon here.

May be negotiating a deal for 2 rigs to drill simultaneously taking a little extra time. Frustrating yes, but I am happy to wait.
