Newmont bought Miramar Mining for C$1.5 Billion19 Nov 2020 02:07
Back in Oct 2007, Newmont Mining bought Canadian miner "Miramar Mining" for C$1.5 Billion @ C$6.25 a share. Miramar had 10.7 million ounces in Inferred & indicated category.
Funny enough, just like OMI, Newmont also had bought 19.9% equity stake in Miramar Mining in Nov 2005, only 2 years before completely buying out Miramar.
Buritica (+11 million ounces) owner Continental Gold was recently bought for C$ 1.4 Billion @ C$5.50 a share by Zijing mining.
Buritica is best proxy for ANZA which is simply an extension of Buritica Gold deposit and on the same high grade Gold rich belt.
