Jameson Land could be lot bigger than 13 billion barrels18 Mar 2026 00:21
3 things that stood out for me in the interview:
Robert Price mentioned Sproule report calculated 13 billion barrels from seismic lines only and not the rest.
I have read other estimates quoted upto 40bln barrels. But staying with 13bln barrels for now.
Estimates quoted were:
Well 1......2.9 billion barrels
Well 2.......1.1 billion barrels
4 bln barrels from just 2 wells.
Last one is quite significant:
I think he mentioned Breakeven cost $25/barrel.
Second lowest globally just after Saudi Arabia.
No wonder BIG OIL MAJORS would be keen to take over the entire Jameson field in the future. He could not mention specific names, but dropped hints like Prudhoe Bay and Exxon discovery off Gyuana.
Could EXXON be the one he was hinting at ?
