South Africa supplies around 80% of the PGE worlwide, which includes Platinum, Palladium and Rhodium.

Palladium was $250 and Rhodium circa $1000 back in 2001 if memory serves me right. Lot of mines closed or were put on hold etc.

Then came the energy emissions story - we all know about that one.

Palladium approaching back towards $1800 and Rhodium which is so rare @ 14,000 a troy oz but so essential as an alloy mixed with Palladium and Platinum for catalystic convertors.

Munni Munni got 76,000 oz of Rhodium so far valued at circa $1 Billion at current Market price. We get 30% of that which alone is $319 million.

I just sold few of my other Dog shares in the portfolio and put funds here as this is so cheap right now.

Alien Metals been a laggard and should be a Big winner in 2022 by some distance in my view with so much newsflow on all fronts. GLA

0.78 being hit hard.....should be in 0.80s soon and still dirt cheap.

c 25% of current MCap is just in Cash. That is a very high percentage vs other explorers. UFO is in strong position going into 2022.

3p should be here in Q1.....just watch when wider market moves in. Buying early is key to bigger gains.

then add the £21.7m (£82.9m - £61.2m) Turner Pope attributed to the rest of projects other than Hamersley.

Total should be: (£108m + £21.7m) = £129.7m

Total shares 3.9B

Value per share: (129.7m / 3.9b) = 3.32p / share

(above does NOT include recent acquisition of the 30% Munni Munni project).

So clearly next Valuation by TPI should be much higher than the £82.9m assessment as at 25 FEB 2021.

Turner Pope sum of parts Valuation of £82.9M on 25 FEB 2021 had £61.2m attributed to Hamersley iron ore project when Alien Metals share was only 51%.

Turner Pope latest research note dated 24 NOV 2021....they clearly acknowledge that since 25 FEB 2021...

" since then, of course, Alien has successfully increased its holding in the Brockman and Han**** Ranges projects from 51% to 90% through a cash and shares transaction which now clearly presents opportunity to boost this figure beyond that indicated in the original assessment. "

51% > 90% (represents 76.47% increase).

In that case revised valuation just for Hamersley (alone) should be: (£61.2m x 1.7647) = £108m

The main use for rhodium is in catalytic converters designed to clean vehicle emissions. Rhodium — often together with palladium and/or platinum — accomplishes this by reducing nitrogen oxide in exhaust gas. Without rhodium catalysts, the air in our cities would be much worse due to vehicle exhausts. 

Munni Munni historic JORCresource contains:
1.14 Moz palladium,
0.83 Moz platinum, 
152Koz gold and 
76Koz rhodium

No body even talking about Rhodium.

We get 30% of 76,000 oz.

Alien Metals would be targeting both EH and Munni Munni from their 8 man field camp they set up. So lot of news flow inbound through out 2022

Hanc0ck probably sitting on multiples of the current 10.4 million tonnes. Phase 3 drill programme is to tap into those new discovered ridges that run up to 9km. Resource at Hanc0ck in my view could be multiples of 10.4Mt once we get more drill results. Brockman i think has estimate of 233Mt so far from only part of the licence. Hence UFO planning to initiate work programme there also next year. We could be sitting on very similar size to Yandi. Bit early i know, but next 12 months could be very rewarding indeed.

By the way 'Yandi' mine only produced 5Mt in their first year of production. It was ramped up later over the 30 years.

Agree smiller. This is a must own stock in any Portfolio going into 2022 and coming years in my opinion.

Yandi was BHP's +1 billion tonne iron ore deposit coming to its end of life after 30 years and mine to close in 2023.

Funny enough BHP had Brockman deposit i think back in 1960's. Two of the main areas that UFO going after are BHP19 and BHP20 named after the company.

I think you totally missed the point...SOLG was just another example how a share can really take off. The desire to take control of "Cascabel" and majority stake in SOLG between NewCrest and BHP and the events leading to that sparked a sharp rally early on. I was in Solg at the time but sold @ 11p thinking done well..........doh !!!

GGP we know, went from 1.93p (3 Jan 2020) to 38p towards end of 2020. Havieron being the company maker and attracting NewCrest to come in as their own TELFER mine was coming to end of life and to close.

Here is the interesting part.......quite a few mines in Western Australia are coming to their end of life.

Brockman 4 Mine (Rio Tinto)

Christmas Creek Mine (Fortescue)

These BIG players will be looking for Iron ore deposits to replace that lost production early on as it takes time, especially BHP's - Yandi mine will only operate till 2023.

Generally speaking you looking at 10/1 leverage where Silver companies outperform gains vs Silver spot price increase when it starts moving strongly upwards.

We all have made similar mistakes in the past. If you had left your original 7m @ 0.85 GGP shares and sold at around 35p, you would have got £2.45m (less original cost £60k).

I very strongly believe UFO would provide many a chance to redeem themselves with some life changing gains in coming years depending on each and everyones Holding time frame.

Folks 2022 could be transformational here starting with EH assays any day in Dec and phase 3 driling from Hanc0ck to further build on 10.4Mt of high grade DSO.
