Higher volume and strong momentum leads to stronger re-rate. This needs to break past 9.15p reached when EL was granted. Albiet there was dilution last year but we also gained $10.4m cash in bank.

This is playing out perfectly. Just a 5% drop for a share firmly in an uptrend now ahead of news. Some traders sold to play 10% swings from +5% up to -5% down on the day. Fair enough.

Bounced perfectly from 4.45 support level.

RSI now cooled down also.

EMA50 is close to crossing EMA100 also.

Same pattern when we were trying to break above 4p last week. Touched 5.10 today. This should break past 5p also soon. Higher highs/higher lows. Expect a nice bounce tomorrow.

5.10 was day high. Quite a few other trades also over 5p. Bit of pullback is normal. Gives others another chance getting in sub 5p before we have a crack at 6p. However if drill rig news lands tomorrow or later this week, then straight back to over 9-10p and higher in my view.

Yes MATD will not let go of Block XX and should not. Already got an MOU with Petrochina.

Can simply do a 60/40 partnership for Block XX with them if MATD want to. Govt want to promote MATD as their domestic "go to" oil producer for coming decades. We are on track.

I can see highly attractive PE ratio for MATD going forward with institutional investors and Fund Managers adding it to their High growth stocks list. We should be growing at anywhere between 50% to 100% growth rate as we double up production y-o-y from just Block XX.

Got to look at the highly attractive growth trajectory. MCap should adjust higher itself.

Agree. Around $10.4m cash in bank. We can go alone at Heron but JV with Petrochina would simply fast track MATD to get to 8000 bopd much quicker.

At 2000 bopd at $40/bbl profit = £21.6m profit pa
4000 bopd = £43.25m
8000 bopd = £86.5m (9.6p a share EPS).

MCap has got be 10 x EPS to be generating profits like that. It is inevitable that current MCap will need to rise to much higher level. No brainer

So much Oil to come out. Heron ready to turn the taps on. Petrochina JV would simply fast track Oil production from Heron as they deploy more rigs.

Production revenues $$$ from Heron will go through the roof. Imagine Petrochina sticking 50 wells all across the Heron oil field and increase production to 15,000 - 20,000 bopd just like they did in their own Blocks 19 and 21.

Petrochina own production been declining from 25000 bopd to around 17000 bopd currently. Heron production of 8000 bopd would fill that gap perfectly to get back to 25000 bopd.

Win win for all parties.

Petrochina JV to me would be a no brainer. They can either JV at Heron with MATD or make an offer to buy out MATD to take over Block XX. But PetroMatad would prefer a 49% JV and retain all the upside.

Petrochina paid $100m to Soco Intl to take over blocks 19 and 21 over 10 years ago.

How much would they pay for 49% JV at todays high Oil price environment ?
