Yes i also like the Renewable angle that MATD initiated and is needed to meet the increasing demand that is to come. Would certainly be huge positive to feed the upcoming Oil refinery.

New Oil refinery will not just need crude oil as feedstock but will need power and electricity also. Then you will have infrastructure needs and further demand from house residents as Mongolia moves to urbanisation and economic expansion.

Central Govt implementing policies now to attract Foreign Investors and MATD management has made a huge contribution in shaping up the compliance & governance policies for all parties.

MATD is not a one trick pony anymore.

Soon to become Oil producer with Massive Upside from the sexy Exploration side with Billions of barrels still untapped in Mongolia and now ever growing clean energy / Renewable energy aspect.

Just look at those many Multi-billion barrels oil producing fields in China. Mongolia now playing catch up and this is a excellent entry price for anyone looking to get in.

Block 20 - Heron discovery:
There are 2 working petroleum systems one already producing in Block 19, 20, 21.

Heron-1 (Block 20) discovery was one of best Oil observed and flowed naturally to surface at 800 bopd rate. Multi-well deal with DQE.

New Licence bidding round announcement:
MATD bidding for 5 licences. I am hoping we get Block 9 south of Block 5 and close to Inner Mongolia Multi-billion barrel producing oil fields

Yes. Forgot about that new Gas pipeline agreement exporting Russian Gas to China via Mongolia. All 3 countries need each other.

Mongolia looking to attract foreign investors is defo an excellent sign.

Foreign investment will be needed for Mongolia's wider economic expansion plans, e.g. Renewable energy, New Oil refinery, infrastructure projets.

Plus Rio Tinto want to get that giant Copper deposit moving forward.

They going to need lot of Oil, Copper, Steel, iron, etc. to feed that economic expansion.

We might see bigger Foreign players coming to Mongolia for JVs etc to also get a slice of the largely untapped billions of barrels of Oil.

Petrochina had it too easy for too long. Govt now putting pressure on Petrochina to clean up their act and bring everything upto date.

Both PetroMatad and Petrochina should be working together and play an important role in taking Mongolian economy forward on multiple fronts through JV partnerships etc. Starting with Multi-well DQE deal and developing both Block 20 and Block 5.

They can also work together on new Licences being bid for. Some of them in the south close to Inner Mongolia multi-billion barrel Oil fields.

Should be win / win for all parties including Govt

And why have they not raised funds already? They should have raised now .Company said themselves they will need funds.

This got to £110m MCap in Feb 2017 just on expectation with no discovery back then and £5m cash we received from SHELL.

Now with $12.2m cash + Heron discovery in place already which should get even bigger.

Broker targets assigned are £300m for Heron and £350m for Velociraptor.

2m Buy worth £82k reported late on Friday shows huge confidence.

More players would be looking to get in next week with news due on multiple fronts.

Central Govt been pushing local governor to get Petro China to clean up their act. Central Govt taking control of things as it should be.

Petro Matad on the other hand been in the good books of the Environmentalists with good clean policies and showing suport for the locals. Petro Matad active role in also taking Renewable Energy initiatives forward ranks highly.

Petro Matad have actually been instrumental under Mike Buck tenure in guiding and advising Govt in shaping up future policies to transform their economy for coming decades. That relationship built over past 6 years will bear fruits for coming decades.

That explains slight drop as MMs wanted to fill that 2m Buy order.

This should come alive next week.

Velociraptor-1 should kick start soon with 200mmbo recoverable.

Analysts put NPV10 @ $2.136 billion.

Then there another 3 raptors to come after Velociraptor-1.

Could see a similar run up like the one we had from 3p - 38p back in Feb 2017. Adjusted for more shares today, could still have a strong run to 26p on strong momentum. Add to the mix Production from Heron-1 and this could do even more.

Especially after all the major investment in New Oil refinery and infrastructure. Add to that the Renewable Energy focus which can help in a big way to supply power to the upcoming domestic Oil refinery. MATD in pole position now on all fronts finally after all these years.

Analysts price target of 58p (based on Oil $70/bbl) is split 26p for Heron and 32p for Velociraptor.

Heron Land permit opens up the 26p.

We can still get high level RNS....all approved subject to Ministers signatures etc. Something on those lines.

News leaks before official RNS comes generally speaking.

Both Petrovis group and MATD management added more to their holdings in the last $6.6m placing. They know its coming.

Possibly last chance for any fence sitters to get in before it takes off. Moves very fast this one.

Can see this heading towards 15 - 20p real quick.
