The RNS which advised that NM was stepping down did not mention the Apala committee. I assume from this that Nick will remain on the Apala committee moving forward - I will try and get an answer from the company
It would be good to see how Citi have earnt their money to date. SO far there is no real evidence of what they have done. Waiting in anticipation for next few weeks...
rgl2 - I dont disagree with your post. Although if they are trying to do a deal on Cascabel / Apala alone - it is clear that the market is not/has not taken into consideration rest of the portfolio. Hence if they are working on a deal for Cascabel and rest of folio stay with Solgold or Newco then it is not relevant to either party to release drill results on other tenements. So agree with your argument if for ALL of Solgold but not if it is for Cascabel/Alpala alone...

Thanks Q - my gripe with the company is they have not officially "said that they are doing quarterly updates" with regards to drilling. That was suggested by another poster here. Their approach to updating regarding drilling has been massively inconsistent. Before Xmas they were literally giving a running commentary of Porvenir holes. The company have not stated what their procedure is officially so it does leave some of us guessing. They also stated to a poster on here that they "may" issue some results if they were worth releasing (I think from memory) - this leaves some guesswork in between!!

Q, not everything that Solgold have stated is true. Many a time have we seen a correction of Solgold "facts". https://cornerstoneresources.com/news-releases/19-03-cornerstone-responds-to-solgold-announcement/ Note the para that states: "Cornerstone shareholders should also be aware that the Blanca, Nieves and Rio Mira concessions that SolGold incorrectly states are 100% owned by SolGold are in fact within the 5 km area of interest of the Cascabel concession and Cornerstone's 15% carried interest (described below) applies to these concessions too. In fact, SolGold's 85% interest is conditional on it fulfilling its obligations with respect to Cornerstone's carried interest"
As you know over time Cornerstone (and Warren Irwin) have called out Solgold on various matters and have been proved to be correct - and/or Solgold have reacted upon their statements.
Therefore what Solgold have said in the past has not necessarily been fact. I am not a conspiracy theorist - merely a realist.
Depends if they have a agreed a price range in principle - good news in other tenements would push the price of solgold share price up (independent of Cascabel). If these were not part of the deal it will skew the price. If I was a purchaser I would have issued a conditional and asked for a news blackout of drilling results.
I wonder if a JV will happen for Solgold and as part of the deal the other companies will spin off (eg Green Rock/ Carnegie Ridge) - is this Nick's plan to lead these? It would explain some of the silence on the exploration front.
Add, I also emailed the company on Monday asking what the drilling update policy would be so to add some consistency to the updates and expectations. Also nothing back
