There are quite a lot of unknowns surrounding SYME at the minute but there are a couple of things surrounding this board that we DO know!

1, We know that most of the people posting on here haven't got the faintest idea what they are talking about.

2, The more an individual posts the more likely he is NOT to have the faintest idea what he is talking about.

3, It is a source of great amusement to read the posts of the people who , although they clearly haven't got the faintest idea what they are talking about , keep talking anyway.

4, ...and last but not least ,
I for one CERTAINLY haven't got the faintest idea what I am talking about either!

Ok Gotmiester , here goes.
As a holder of SYME shares you are entitled to buy more shares as part of their open offer.
You will be entitled to buy one share for every 66 you hold at a price of 0.05p , you may apply for those shares you are entitled to and you may also apply for more at the same price but there is no guarantee you will get them. You do not HAVE to take part in the offer if you don't want to but if you do you should notify your broker through whatever means they provide.
So that is the bare bones of it anyway.

Good Morning All.
I am expecting a good day today with Fridays momentum carrying on into today and I also expect to see first IM rubber stamped by mid month.
Just to say however that it remains to be seen how first IM will be received and therein lies the rub. It will have to make sufficient appeal to both clients AND funders for SYME to succeed , if it is not seen as an attractive proposition or it is seen as too convoluted then we will be up against it.
Still hoping for good things but we still have a long way to go.
Just thought I would throw in a reality check as it is easy to get carried away after a day like we had on Friday.

I agree with all of that except that i feel Castle and Rosie are wholly disingenuous so i have blocked them.
I am more than happy to listen to any contrarian views however or just frustrated investors letting off steam and often find i am swimming against the tide myself as someone who is invested but not totally convinced if you see what i mean.

I think i would be on fairly safe ground to say that Monday morning will see SYME sp continue to rise as there is clearly some momentum to be carried over from Friday , but how high and whether those gains can hold up? I havn't the foggiest!
But just for the craic i will say up to 0.18 on Monday and then to hover between 0.15 to 0.20 between now and first IM being confirmed , which will see another spike up to 0.30 ish , maybe more and beyond that will depend on how much more business SYME can drum up in the near future.

it never fails to amaze and amuse me how so many seemingly intelligent people spend so much time arguing and trading insults with them.

Obviously I am not as well researched as some of you guys but I guess it is fair to say that the prevailing wisdom says that yesterday's big rise is probably due to loan shares being repaid on time.

I have always been a bit of an agnostic about SYME and tbh I still am.
Easy to get carried away after a day like yesterday but most of us are still underwater and SYME have still not delivered anything , let alone anything in volume although it does look like first IM is imminent.
As far as my investment strategy goes that is simple, HOLD.
You don't plant a rose in your garden and then pull it up before it's flowered do you?
In any case I only have a tiny holding compared to some of you lot but big enough if ever SYME really does rocket!

...and what i am trying to say to you guys is , that in the greater scheme of things , we are still driving around in a little yellow , three wheeled ,Robin Reliant that says New York , Paris , Peckham on the side of it , stuffed full of day dreams and good intentions ...
but we havn't stumbled upon our Harrisons "Lesser Watch" just yet...
but who knows?

Amidst all the Hullabaloo and back slapping today i have not really heard any credible explanation as to why we flew up 65% today , i can't believe it was the RNS so if we can fly up 65% on no tangible news today why can we not plunge 65% on no tangible news on Monday.

I have never understood the fascination with Rosie and Castle , a bigger pair of No Marks you would have to go a long way to find.
Today has been an absolute Barn Stormer and taken pretty much everyone by suprise but we still have a long way to go.
We don't know how the SYME story will progress , early days , could still go either way.

Still kind of an odd day though to say the least.
When I read this morning's RNS I thought
"Ok , fair enough price will remain static , maybe even reverse a bit"
but up nigh on 65%? No Way!
I don't pretend for one minute to understand it ,
Just hope that momentum keeps going into next week!
