i hear what you are saying in so far as you don't feel you can copy and share and i respect that BUT...

one would have thought if the company themselves are happy with the accountancy treatment then they would really want to make that known , loud and clear.

I feel the reason they are not singing this from the rooftops and playing their cards close to their chest may be that they are still in the difficult and delicate process of trying to convince funders , and that may well include BancoBPM , that everything is kosher and good to go ...

anyway , what do i know?

I wouldn't know how long it takes to get things done in Italy but one would like to think that our CEO , an Italian regulatory expert no less , and our prospective partners , the third largest bank in Italy WOULD....and it is for that reason , coupled with the fact that there has been absolutely no mention whatsoever of any regulatory hold ups , either anticipated or actual , in any RNS on the subject that your assertion that we are simply waiting for a regulatory rubber stamp(or stamps) just doesn't correlate with with the timeline or content of the relevant RNS's.

If it is just a question of waiting for regulatory approval - then why not say so?

No disrespect intended Demo man but we all have a pretty good grasp of the theory by now , it's the practical that we seem to be struggling with. After the initial RNS re BBPM from SYME we had an update on the 29th Feb and then another on the 5th April which stated that...

"Syme had expected the contracts to be completed by the end of March 24" and all parties including "external legal teams" were working to finalise the review of the commercial contract...

and since then total radio silence , nada , Zilch , nothing , not a nod nor a nudge nor a wink. Now people can draw their own conclusions but to my mind that suggests there is a fairly high probability that something has come unstuck but we can't say for sure because we aren't being told anything.

That is FIVE WHOLE MONTHS now and not so much as a Dickie Bird....

We won't get rich by selling pie in the sky , we need AZ to bring it down from the sky , put in on a plate(that is to say - make it commercially viable) and sell it to someone!!

... it's just that they haven't completed the big Italian cheese producers WL yet and we were first informed about that at the beginning of January and i think it is reasonable to assume that the process for that deal would have started well before then but you seem to be giving the impression that if i have inventory to monetise all i have to do is pick up the phone and i must say that i do find it a little strange to say the least that Italy's third largest bank , having agreed to step out with SYME on this game changing and revolutionary new financial product are leaving all the PR down to little old you???

I cannot see anything on Banco BPM's site about SYME OR Inventory Monetization...and , strangely enough , i can't see anything on SYME's site about Banco BPM , can you provide a link or tell me what your source is please?

It's just that , if the link up with BBPM is ready to rock and roll one might have thought they would be a little more on the front foot about it , no?

Probably foolhardy to hazard a guess as to how far it might go at this point in time , suffice to say that if all the pieces come together in the way we hope they will - then the potential for growth is really quite considerable ;)

We first had the news of BBPM's commitment to fund on Jan 3rd and we have had a number RNS's since then providing us with updates(although none recently)i don't remember seeing any reference whatsoever in ANY of those RNS's or for that matter any other RNS to the "full regulatory approval" to which you have alluded.

If the company were just waiting for such approval , don't you think they might have mentioned it?

If we accept that the accountancy procedure is all tickety-boo, then there must be some OTHER reason why we are doing next to no business...

I am just looking at it from a laymans point of view ; if we have clients and i think we can all agree there is no shortage of those AND the accounting is all ship shape and Bristol fashion THEN we should have no problem getting funders but so far nothing doing. I know BBPM have said they will provide some funding but saying is not the same as doing and there has already been a long time between them saying and them doing...

So using my road menders logic it has to be...

Funders do not like the accountancy side of it , for whatever reason....or

Funders don't think there is enough profit in it for them...or

it could just be that they think there is too much risk in dealing with inventory and/or the whole proposition is just too darned convoluted....or possibly even a combination of all three!

I am not qualified to profer an opinion on accountancy treatment but i suspect that if you asked a number of eminently qualified accountants for an opinion on the legitimacy of SYMES proposition you probably wouldn't get a uniform answer. I think it may be open to a certain amount of interpretation even from those in the know...

Even if you accept that Steve Wards friend , whose qualifications i don't doubt for one moment , is correct and SYMES proposition stands up to close scrutiny then it simply begs the question....

If the accounting treatment is all good then why are we doing next to no business?

Why are we not further along the road to being a successful revenue generating company?

The irony is the more you try to 💩💩 the conspiracy theories the more plausible they seem. I think you will find that Jacob is real enough and IF(note the emphasis on the word IF)there is any substance to such theories then those "hound dogs" may have some "jailhouse rock" to look forward to 😂
