I think they were essentially just talking about Musks potential role in the incoming Trump administration and while Trump is up for imposing import tariffs on China - Musk may be less keen as it will significantly bump up his manufacturing costs , so there is a potential conflict- they didn't talk about DGI specifically and i don't think there was anything that will directly affect us at DGI , at least not in the short term anyway.

There is very little certainty in this life and that includes DGI - but there are a lot of ticked boxes and the potential upside is considerable. I think the positives outweigh the negatives , I am very happy to be in and , at this price , minded to add more when I can.

The more I think about it the harder I find it to fathom why BBPM/SYME made the January 3rd announcement regarding funding when this issue clearly wasn't (and still isn't) nailed down. Looks like a classic case of putting the cart before the horse.

As part of SYME'S white label proposition they need to be able to demonstrate to any potential funder what they will do about remarketing goods if a client fails to keep up with their payments - and they will particularly have to demonstrate how they will go about this when they will at no point be in PHYSICAL , hands on possession of said goods.

What if the client doesn't want to hand over the goods?

How will SYME(and or the funder)go about gaining PHYSICAL possession?

...and if they do gain possession what then?

I can't help feeling it may have been a bit premature of SYME to be making an announcement about potential funding from BBPM back in January when they clearly didn't have a satisfactory method to deal with remarketing at the time and it seems they still don't now.

Apart from the practical side of physically remarketing goods , it may also be a question of who takes the hit when clients fail to pay?

Is it SYME or the funder or both?

Seems this deal is in effect snookered while the parties discuss a "scalable solution in relation to the remarketing framework"

That is to say that our potential funder doesn't want to get stuck with a shed load of unwanted cheese that it doesn't have the means to shift , entirely understandable , so what is the answer.

Assuming they are not gonna just drop it off at the local food bank they will have to find someone to shift it for them and that service will come at a cost so the funder is Gonna take some sort of a hit - right?

It's a conundrum innit?

As far as i am aware the collaborations in which we are involved are well advanced and while good news is always welcome i am not sitting on the edge of my seat and i am not expecting a blow by blow running commentary.

First off - i would say that is very much an IF as opposed to a WHEN..

and secondly i would say not much , at least i don't think it will go nuts anyway , SYME need to get themselves into a position where they can be knocking these out thick and fast and they clearly have an awful lot of ground to cover to get to that point.

Good luck to anyone bold enough to be buying more now , although to be fair at this price it is maybe not so bold , i was going to say cheap as chips but actually a good deal cheaper than chips i should think.
