Okay, but how much revenue and/or profit is SAE going to make?
After all.. there is debt to repay. Plenty to be precise.
I feel like I don't really understand the financial impact of BESS on SAE..
Our friend just messaged me. He saw the messages here and made clear:
The turbine was lifted up. Ten minutes later they left with the turbine on board.
So.. still only 3 out of 4 turbines running.
Agree. Let's wait. While it's hard to feel top much positivity at the moment, one thing seems to be true: SAE is still keeping their head above the water.
It is perhaps beyond my understanding how they can recover from all the things that happened in the past. Here is another truth: I view my investment currently as "dead". From that perspective.. there's only ways up.
CfD AR5 will be decided in September as it seems. I hope we get positive news on AR4 and the additional 28MW soon(ish). Expectations are low. The happier I am going to be should this turn around.
I wish I was able to predict the value of this company in 5 years. If it's 10x, that would be a valuation around £70m, I wouldn't be mad.
@munin unfortunately not. He wasn't able to keep an eye on it but we joked about a webcam that he could set up there. I jokingly said "why not make a gofundme". Shouldn't be too expensive to set something up with a scope and a camera but the question is also whether it is worth the effort
Let's see.. the waiting game continues.
A valuation of just £6.5m ...
We could all just chip in and buy >21% of the company 😅
They do not mention the removal of one turbine. What is going on? Idk if they took it back down but they clearly lifted one up.
Graham Reid makes £290.000 per year.
This is what I'd prefer:
Give him £90k per year and the rest in form of equity. Vesting period 4 years, 1 year cliff.
This is how you align shareholder interests.
I would be surprised if they wenr down after receiving the CfD. Except for the debt of course which is a thorn, two thorns, in each eye.
That being said, it's pretty obvious that "the market" isn't convinced. If we can even call this a market..
I'm not here to constantly paint the devil on the wall or to repeat myself constantly. I think we all know that SAE needs to build up investors confidence and to move into the spotlight for their market valuation to recover.
Insiders would know best whether or not to invest. I can't see myself growing out of concerns given thee fact that they don't. Why would you not shares if you knew there's a future?
SAE simply continuing as business is one thing. Are they going to be an investment with positive returns? Ever? That's a completely different question.
Insiders might not but because they know: more dilution, more debt and even more uncertainties. CfD could be turned off tomorrow etc.
You get my point.
I can share the frustration and parts of the anger but remember: nobody forced you to invest. Calling SAE a fraud is a stretch, despite the mistake that have been made. They did deliver on their end. Politics let them down on theirs.
SAE isn't to blame for all of this alone.
As such.. you invested ok you own terms. Maye you weren't aware of all the risk that were (or are) at play here. Therefore, I hope your willing to take your own part of the blame as well into consideration.
It's possible that maintenance was about to take place or that they intend to retrofit this one as well so they timed everything to safe cost on the vessel.
I'd prefer an update from the company over this guessing game though.
Let's give them a few more days.
It looks like SAE took one turbine out of the water after deploying one.

Agree. That Kind of news doesn't shake me at all (anymore).
Turbine #4 seems to be deployed now.
New image from our friend.
Turbine is still on board.

According to my friend, the vessel is still there with the turbine on board.
Not sure what's going on. Wet mate was supposed to be a 30 minutes endeavor.
You're welcome.
I'd be surprised if we didn't get an update in the coming week. Why would they not publish some good news they desperately need..
It's good news, sure. Next time, I hope, we get significant news I hope.
1) financial plan for AR5
2) award from AR6 announced soon and
3) insiders buying stock to signal the bare minimum of confidence
I received an image of the vessel taken from a binocular. It's a bit blurry but it appears that there is a turbine ok board.
