PYX Resources: Achieving volume and diversification milestones. Watch the video here.
@Baldman great find, thank you. In shortcut majority of the interview is about changes of state role in exploration process talking about "super-strategic" minerals, especially valuation of resource, where state wants to have maximum control over exploration on all future exploration leases. It does not mean that state will do the exploration or mining but that state will do some preliminary valuation and be able to decide over exploration conditions and what to do after exploration is finished. That is impossible with current exploration leases (between others owned by EMH) where the prior rights to mine is held by exploration company. So for future exploration leases of "super-strategic" minerals there is generally now stop state and nor EMH or any other company will get new exploration licences until state will decide, after valuation, if they wan't to do full exploration and mining itself or let it to private company and what will be the conditions. He said that after cooperation in past at current stage state is limiting it's action only on necessary legislation work. For current exploration leases EMH must follow the current process to obtain mining permission where state has some limited but important role to allow mining and set some conditions.
I would also like to emphasise that you do not need approved government to get to DFS, build pilot plant, pass through environmental impact assessment nor to getting mining approval. The only thing which might be affected is potential involvement of Diamo (Czech state company) in mining.
There is still fully functional government "in resignation". Current government can do all decisions which approved government can do. It was like that quiet a few times in last decades. Lower house is working, approving laws, budgets... President recently said that he will not dismiss lower house even in the case that negations will fail in all three attempts to approve government so this government "in resignation" can be here easily till standard elections in four years. There is nothing why companies in general (including EMH) can't make deals with current government. The lack of certainty that the government as it is will remain for years to come is not pleasant but nothing to freeze Czech Republic from any development till another elections.
So again we might wait and wait for new government to get approval. Just minutes ago: Negotiations between the YES and the CSSD about the government have failed The possibility that the government will be formed on the ground plan of YES and the CSSD has fallen. After Thursday evening talks in the Chamber of Deputies announced the leaders of soc. dem. Jan Hamček and Jiř Zimola. The YES movement did not agree on any compromise, and the CSSD will remain in opposition. https://www.novinky.cz/domaci/468309-jednani-ano-a-cssd-o-vlade-zkrachovalo.html
@bluegrass thank you. First the things I wrote are not some unofficial press articles but the official ministry announcement in a nutshell. I would also like to see some further discussions between EMH and Czech government but I do not think that will happen any soon. Though MoU was the most discussed topic right before elections once it cooled down and got to facts lithium is definitely not priority number one for new government and I am not sure it is in the top 100. Also in official government study which was done after the whole MoU fireworks it was stated that for any further steps towards Czech Republic being involved it is suggested to wait for DFS. What is clear from statement is EMH has green light to continue towards DFS and mining approval which can happen with or without CR participation in project.
So the current ministry, which is most likely to stay with some slight changes officially announced that "cancelling" MoU was done to take this whole MoU populist blowout off the table. The same ministry also officially stated that it has absolutely no effect to the rights of EMH to continue with DFS and get mining approval. I would honestly like to know what more do you expect with "politics is solved"?
PFS: This roast resulted in a leach lithium recovery of 82.8 % – 87.0 % lithium at a roast temperature of 850 °C for 1 hour. Overall lithium recovery – 76.5% With 95% leach recovery we are at 85.5% overall lithium recovery. Very significant improvement.
Relax guys. We can't all buy at minimun and sell at peak, it does not work like that. When I bought first in Jan 2016 I did not expect EMH will mine before 2020 and expected to hold till 2022 at least if some miracle won't happen on the way. My big thanks to all investors, I believe there will be huge reward. And good luck to all speculators :)
Not sure why you comment like this but just to make clear this mine was mined for centuries and as far as I am aware from official announcements old mine works were/are currently being dewatered to acquire large bulk of samples. I think it can manage few more decades with modern technologies to get some more tin, potash and newly also lithium out of it...
EMH mining only tin and completely forget about lithium is worth more than current sp.
Is it just me or are these two new accounts SaintNicholas and DonaldJStrang way too much PetrPansky?
@ant There is an article from second half of February mentioning progress and negotiations about new factory in Nevada. Also mentions both factories should produce "half a ton" batteries. Only in Czech language: http://oenergetice.cz/elektrina/akumulace-energie/genialniho-muska-bychom-palube-uvitali-rika-cesky-vynalezce-jan-prochazka/
I forget to mention HE3DA is now by their description all about battery storage and "big" batteries.
@ear They plan to import lithium till Cinovec kick in later on. I was sceptic about he3da especially after Chinese investor chicken out but they are building factory. Seems they have some decent initial funding from Czech investors and they really like the idea of being able to buy and use Czech lithium in these Czech batteries. Last time I have read article aboit he3da it was a lot about expansion into US and building huge factory there too.
@Noise He created company with anonymous shares. He got bank loan for the project with his sign and his company and subsidies on "anonymous" company which got the project from his company and right after term for subsidies merged into his company. Clearly a fraud. The question is if laws in the Czech Republic are good enough to not be bend completely by Babis lawyers and if Babis won't find some other way like to corrupt / scare out / extort the investigators and judges.
I am afraid you will have to eat your shorts. Anyway come on, enough of politics. Now all media stated the law is on EMH side and ministry clearly stated that cancelling MoU has absolutely no impact on right of EMH to continue in exploration and get to mining. As far as EMH obey the law and continue as holder of exploration leases it is the only subject entitled to start mining on the leases unless EMH decides otherwise. It would be nice to see Czech Republic cooperate on this important project for it's own good and I still believe eventually there will be reasonable deal closed but in the worst case slurry pipe in opposite direction to Germany will do...
Nice summary of facts by Czech analysts: https://www.tyden.cz/rubriky/domaci/analytici-vypovezeni-memoranda-o-lithiu-je-politickym-gestem_469915.html
Sure, it needs final mining permit. And by law the only one who can obtain mining permit is holder of exploration permit - EMH. And if EMH follows the laws by law it must obtain mining permit. Only if EMH decides it is not interested, somebody else can follow.
EMH by law can and will mine. If the Czech Republic does not want MoU and be actively involved in the project, no worries. https://ekonomika.idnes.cz/lithiums-tezba-cinovec-kovy-memorandum-vlada-babis-huner-pzm-/ekonomika.aspx?c=A180302_124222_ekonomika_rts
New, from yesterday. After 6 years of going from one instance to other this is final and definitive decision. Babis was STB agent (Czech variation on KGB). Unfortunately in the last term Babis with support of other parties made changes in law so it is not forbidden anymore for agents etc. to be part of government. First time in history we have not only prosecuted PM but also STB agent. And there are still some voters who believe he is fighting corruption and doing good for CR. What a shame.
