Tony - as far as I know no UK oil company has ever been able to claim for consequential losses -

legal cost occasional, yes but not for "damage"

I don't know how many times I have to post this but you can't sue the council just because they turn you down - even if it is approved following a Public Enquiry

Whatever it is it will have to distract from next weeks OGA update I think - the fact they've had tp carry out such a long workover & tests suggests things weren't going very well

You can only get costs for maladministration - Egdon only got legal costs because the CC there didn't turn up for the second enquiry - you can't get them for a lost opportunity in the UK
