Angus Energy - can't do anything until they raise £ 12mm (hopefully) to bring an old gas field onto production. Balcombe is another Kimm dog.

Egdon - small producer, may need a raise shortly, biggest potential is offshore

IGas - plugging away , very small producer

Ineos- effectively pulled out of new exploration and gone offshore & overseas - fired their onshore team

Rathlin Energy - a few Canadians with no production

South Western Energy - one man band unknown to rest of the oil industry - no money

UKOG - production at HH1 faltering, HH2 a dog. No mention of Kimm and need to raise more cash for Turkish venture

But this share isn't going anywhere until we hear about the financing - borrowing £ 13 mm before Christmas is a much bigger item than permission to think about recompleting Balcombe somewhere in late 2021

The majors abandoned onshore UK in the late 80's when it started to look as if Wytch Farm was a one-off. Even in those days there was a lot of hassle and the small reserves just didn't make sense - their teams were better used offshore or in international and, although the costs are higher, the chances are much better and the long term income is vastly better.

A small number of mid -sized companies kept trying into the very early 00's but then they realised the same thing - it's only a game for the every small outfits. The shale game sparked some interest but very few companies of any size came in - they preferred to wait and see on the basis they could buy any success.

Now I doubt you could sell the idea of the onshore UK to any new entrant - look at the new companies formed over the last 5 years - they're all working offshore

That's 5 wells at 700 bopd each Wiz - but the one they have only produces just over 200 bopd a, the second one they drilled into a"sweet spot" doesn't produce at all and they're seeing water

Almost impossible to bring a claim for consequential damages in the UK - especially against a idiot exercising "his right to protest" - and they are almost certainly on the dole anyway.

They seem to have been involved with Egdon since they were set up - or not long afterwards - not a normal investment I suspect - more like getting European /UK exposure without having to set up an office etc etc

Early on some buys of several thousand quids worth of share started to push the price up - then all the day traders (10p, TH2 etc etc) wade in selling their £ 500 worth and stall any recovery in its tracks.

They'll claim they made 10% (before fees of course) but the vast amount of stock sitting in tiny accounts just kills any significant change in the share price.
