I can already see the impending herd on the horizon. This time next week you’ll be lucky to get a share here under 0.4p. Couple of weeks ago people saying a placing was likely before the planning meet. Not sure where those people are now, sitting quietly having loaded up if that have any common sense.

Its great for current and potential investors in Angus observing the well test taking place only 5 miles down the road as the crow flies at HH. It's like going into a show room next door and test driving the product before buying Angus shares.

Now you will agree that Angus will multi bag due to the testing 5 miles down the road, production licence and how the well was drilled. Talk of pipelines or a rail head are for much further down the line...pardon the pun lol.

Now that that painful bit of the placing is out of the way, we should see more PI's buying into Angus as they are the only company in the Weald to have a Kimmeridge Production licence. HH test is due to finish around the sae time Brockham is going to be perforated.

This is an ideal opportunity for UKOG investors to buy into Angus while there is a long hiatus at HH. Angus gives the best opportunity to multi bag and then yes I'm sure some folk will slice and buy into UKOG before it rises in a year or two.

I hope to see the exact same steady rise of last year when it climbed from 9p to 38p in a matter of months.

it's not an assumption - it's reported facts by AME - and its drilling time - it's a guide as to how long we have to wait for news AFTER they start. But its true - Turkey is a lot easier place to do business then UK Onshore - which is why everyone leaves eventually and seeks pastures green elsewhere

To be fair Mark Abbott is a straight talker - and has a lot of experience in dealing with the locals all over the UK - he know at what level he needs to describe operations - (basically - "see dog, see Jill") . I'm sure that the technical documentation is a great deal more complex and informative.

Still doesn't change the facts that we're still waiting here, and at West Newton, for hard test results

Ibug's excellent and informative post on reported AME production shows that of the 13 E Sadak wells 5 are not mentioned or are out of production - that includes 2 out of the latest 3 - #11 & #12.

That suggests that even tho the field has been under development for some time its still a risky target

Also worth noting that both #11 and #12 took 2 months to drill and P&A

Wrong - Turkey produces 66 mm bbl a year - that's slightly less than the Netherlands and more than Bahrein, Ukraine, Cite d'Ivoire etc etc

There is nothing wrong with AME getting a licence and farming it. It's a well known business model in the oil patch - in fact the UK's Offshore Promote Licences were designed to encourage that model. Someone with ideas works up an idea, gets the acreage and then farms to someone without ideas but with cash.

Egdon are a prime example onshore UK and Reach did pretty well out of it offshore

Rollinginit - yes the average rates are high but one of those fields has been on production for 75 years - the high rates would be in the early years - its probably down to a hundred or so barrels a day right now. Note they don't give any recent numbers

In theory yes, but there normally is no cost to the JV partner if they break the rules - there are no sanctions in the JOA. Australian companies always do it , saying they have a duty under ASX rules to keep their shareholders informed immediately (only applies to good news of course)

It looks better than HH - at least they keep drilling wells . The decline curve isn't as steep as for HH - but then they are infilling constantly by the look of it. The E Sadak numbers also align with the previous historic production rates for Turkey - lots of wells and low production per well. If they are successful then it may keep the ship afloat in Guildford - but I can't see where the upside will come from

But EOG could release the results to save themselves..............
