Shell bailed out of the UK onshore decades ago. And they don't "buy the gas rich land" - they have to apply for a Govt license as its HMG who won the gas - ALL of it. And the Govt hasn't held an onshore licensing round for 8 years

I can't see much happening here at all - they run out of real projects to hype.

HH is never mentioned, Loxley they can't afford and want to farmout, Arreton has been dumped. their partner in Turkey holds the whip hand and nothing is really happening there either

the "blue sky" projects are also in trouble - £1Bn for gas storage, no-one ever mentions the USA or geothermal anymore (and no-one has ever made any money out out of either)

That's not how it works - and Shell aren't going to "negotiate" with ANGS for 1/57,000 th of their daily production.

We sell to Shell - they sell to UK users. You can't put a nice little ANGS logo on every molecule of gas and have it diverted to Europe
