Agreed - they can sell HUR now for X - P8 will cost a lot of money and there is a chance it won't deliver - which would mean they'd get a lot less than X. Sure it might be a gang buster but they're not in the exploration risk business. And any P8 evaluation just pushes a rerate down the road, probably beyond their horizons

I really think GL means well but he is a very bad judge of technical competence........

That is about 60 days away

the company have not said they've hired a rig and there is no sign of prep works. Lucan said this week:-

"We did advise in April that we require a “few weeks of steady-state production prior to works” commencing. This is to allow time to clear the site of post-commissioning personnel and focus the attention of the permanent site team on the drilling operation" -

so they will have less than 40 days to rig up, drill and log the well, run a completion and, test and get the permits to tie in - otherwise its very bad news as the increase in the hedge will be active. A better company than Angus probably can't achieve that timeframe now.

54 bopd = approx pre tax of £ 129,000 I guess - that probably just about covers the overheads and salaries. That's why they haven't been diluting us more than once or twice a year recently

For what it's worth the April numbers are pretty much on track with the long term 2 year decline curve - around 78,000 bbl produced in the 2 years since Official Production started.
