Whoever is in charge they 'll be seriously incentivised - CA will set a target price - get that and you get £ X million, get more than that and you get... a lot more. I was told that in the mid '80's one of the smaller offshore companies was sold - the target price was around £ 50 mm but the execs found someone who paid north of £ 120mm. It was a fixed bonus up to £60 mm, sliding scale to £ 75mm and then something like an additional 25% of anything above that. It made 4 people very, very wealthy, Everyone was happy
