I'm tempted but most of my UK holdings are thinly spread so I wouldn't gain much. I could sell EEE because it's my biggest loss maker but I bought into its future. I don't want to sell any of SML either because I'm well in profit and I bought into that future as well.

I think I'm going to sit on my hands, do nothing and wait to see what the future brings.

Not strictly true because the money Cobre makes is financing LMS' s activities in Cornwall. Without that cash LMS would have to do a fund raise.

Today almost all my UK shares are down but almost all my USA and Canada shares are up. Mainly because of the drop in the FTSE and the £ following Reeve's speeches.

Should I sell most of my UK shares and buy more USA and Canadian shares? I'm undecided

There was a time when Cornwall was the main, and almost the only, source of tin for the whole of the Western World.

It was a while ago, of course.

With the exception of SML, all my UK shares are down today. But all my North American shares are up, even though the markets are supposed to be closed over there. I wonder if the increase in all my North American shares that has something to do with the currency exchange rates?

The sp is already nudging back up. It's back to 1.7p as I type

I guess the analytical process might take a little while. We just have to be patient and hold onto our gambling chips.

EEE is my 2nd largest holding. My largest holding is SML that mines for tungsten, copper, tin and silver in Cornwall. SML also produces magnetite from its site in New Mexico and uses the proceeds from that to fund their operations in Cornwall.

My investment in SML is currently up 73% and showing no sign of slowing down.

If any of my fellow investors in EEE are of a mind to branch out, I think they ought to have a gander at SML They could do worse.

I think this was a reaction to today's RNS about the sale of a chunk of EEE shares by AIMS Asset Management Sdn. Bhd.

The price should bounce back.

The one analyst offering a 12 month price target expects Strategic Minerals PLC share price to rise to 10.00 in the next year from the last price of 1.50.

Ralph might have read about it and not understood it, but, nevertheless decided to apply it to SML that doesn't match much of the Lassonde Curve criteria.

He also tells lies about a non existent placing ms being logged.

SML had over $6,500,000 income from their other operations over the last 12 months. If they do have to raise more funds it won't be very much.

I suggest you go back to your chalkboard and try to teach your infants class how to count. Or, perhaps, get them to teach you

In case anyone hasn't realised it yet, Ralph is a retired teacher who never left the classroom. In his mind we are his pupils and he is our teacher.

He is not unique. I have met many teachers who never managed to escape their calling so never leave any opportunity pass to teach/lecture any poor soul they come across No matter what the setting, in a bar or at a party, or what knowledge or expertise their hapless 'pupils' might possess. The Ralph's of this world will treat them like children and set about teaching them. Ralph might even try to teach a brain surgeon how to carry out brain surgery, even if Ralph, himself, has no idea what a brain looks like.

I'm puzzled by the sells and the effect they are having on the price. As far as I'm concerned this is a buy and hold. Just the same as all my other holdings. Otherwise there's no point in buying in the first place

The UK could play a critical role in the supply of some rare earths to the West.

The the immediate effect of the placing will be dilutionary, but it needed to happen to finance the progress that will benefit us all and, hopefully, make us rich. So I don't know why the naysayers are grumbling

I worry a bit about being overbought with SML but I comfort myself that the rest of my portfolio is up today as well, even if not as much as SML. The rest of my shares only went up 0.6% this morning. SML is still the star.

£75m - £100m is about 3 times it's present market cap. It would be great if it could get there
