Indeed Karina, she needed to be told, and it's about 30 now. Of course it distracts from the share and company; but what has she been doing these past years?
Accip, an example of a recent disposal is the White Hart in Todmorden. This surprised me as the nearest towns, Bacup Littleborough and expensive Hebden Bridge have no spoons. It always seemed busy to me, lots of food, and well-run; although few of my visits were midweek.
Oh well I never saw the books, it's gone now: I believe most staff were redeployed to Rochdale or Sowerby Bridge. Perhaps the Victorian structure had issues, some floors seemed uneven, especially after a few.
Unbelievable, even for long-term observer/s.
JOkin, you believe main LSE is short-proof?
Gazza I have no objection to the quotes: current production may be a mess but there's a lot of the stuff there.
Well Luthee, I've never seen a profitability working mine, true. And my abode is not a caravan nor a bedsit, but I only only have the space of a bedsit until I throw some stuff out. Also, I have retired, although available for the right job.
I have watched ggr's antics for 7y. I believe I know what can work, what not. Post on, why not?
Quite, Prowl, I'm sure that's what many here fear, or hope for. It's the low-ball offer which cheap buyers will take their 20%, which I fear. Just giving huge assets away, but it's happened many times, not just aim. Of course decent offers welcome, £3, bring it on.
Imo hasiba has misinterpreted the insider trading law. The trading is only illegal if the knowledge is not public, and RNSs are not the only way facts can be made known. Insider knowledge not illegal per se, it's trading, or hinting for others to.
Saxma, this must be your judgement, it's your cash. Given the ranges of sp in recent years, this is no Shell, but of course everyone wants lowest buy in.
My own guess is we are at bottom or very nearly. This is based on the last bottom of 11p, when we had less cash, were less profitable, Wressle had a shorter production record, and we had suffered a recent leaked placing. From there sp grew to nearly 5x before falling again. However, Heyco were not then involved in Wressle.
Green, shorting has been suggested, a theory I support by elimination; nothing else adds up. Accept that and the next questions are how, why, and especially, who benefits?
Sure, there are different models. The sp drop might just be what this one causes. Profit has been made from sp moves.
Your smart forecasts! Go on, give us "£1 before Christmas" again!
Yeah Gwyn, my dividend's better than yours (apologies, couldn't resist).
Ok, better to extract in Oklahoma than Venezuela Nigeria or viet-Putin, but it won't be as clean and nice as Wressle. A now departed friend, returning from the US of a, observed that it was a 3rd-world country with a thin coating of technology. And he was Irish!
Well, he has managed 963 last 30d v. a paltry 125. What, I wonder, would Freud make of this?
I see LonSouE disapproves of the expression whose abbreviation is "ho". Shall we be made better humans by limiting our ability to communicate?
i personally prefer the dorothy parker version, "you can lead a ***** to culture, but you can't make her think." strangely apposite....
Sure Gwyn we know it's worse. Liquefying gas involves loss to atmosphere, then there's all the fuel used for transport. Politicians of both sides are disastrous. Best not suggest shooting them though!
Fair enough casap, personally if I had sold this morning then I would slice some back later. Unlike you I had not sold, you certainly called that right, I'll wait and see.
But Acker, you can't deny his record at RHA, and of endless delays and raises; you were here the whole time.
I too should have sliced. Not sold out, I believe we have a much higher future; but it will be a wiggly line and I have already bought slices back for less, more than once.
