Agree they were wrong to treat Canaries as the same territory, its hundreds of miles away unlike Mallorca. Seems some returners from Spain, don't know which bit, arrived badly infectious and we're avoiding a repeat. Honestly, if you were in mainland and wanted to avoid quarantine, you'd go via Perpignan, not Canaries. Or even Paris & Eurostar.
