OilyF, Shell has nearly 8bn shares but virtually zero spread, this suggests to me that spread is caused by lower mcap, not sp, and consolidation should not change mcap, although it often drops it a bit.

Meanwhile we have you saying consolidation is good to encourage buying, and Bigcheesy saying its good to deter trading: can you both be right? Imo you can both be wrong.

Since no one trades fewer than 200 now, how will this deter 10%ers?
