I suppose the timing was a bit lucky. They have a big general hospital to European standards, but only one, and at least I avoided infecting a plane-load. Sage/blockc, I too shop at aldi, sometimes with M&S waitrose booths bag/s; but also at those 3 with aldi bags. The real point is not snobbery but to eliminate single-use plastic. I exchanged my worn out aldi bag yesterday. Aldi, Wetherspoon, Ryanair, yes they are cheapest in sector, but HORSES FOR COURSES.
