I've been saying for months that if our test is approved, we might not need to do a fundraise, that we could receive funding from the govt. But they wouldn't listen, everyday they kept banging on about a Fundraise and share dilution. They should think outside of the box sometimes, and if they'd done their due research they would have known that parties whose products/services were approved, would receive help and funding from the UK Govt. Getting the AIHL test to market should be our main concern now. Once it goes through, the finances for the company will take care of itself. By that time Genedrive will be worth a whole lot more than it is now.

I believe if we were a private company we would have received funding. But as we are a public limited company I think we could lose that benefit. Also 2M wouldn't even keep the lights on. We will need at least 4M to keep us afloat for another year and how much will be needed for Production all depends whats agreed with the NHS..

roger65 - Not assessed, I mean the NHS will have to sign it off next. There's a few other minor steps within the signoff process that will need to be completed first, it's explained in detail on the NICE website. Their will also be a planning period with the relevant parties, regarding distribution locations and manufacturing methods. So it could be a good few months down the line before we get underway with manufacturing and destribution. During which time we may also receive help with funding directly from NHS, which is again mentioned in the EVA statement on the NICE website.

Bighammer - The test is already being used at I believe Manchester hospital, this is where they've collected all the current test data. If it's cleared at the end of the month then it will need to be signed off by the NHS, it will then be distributed to a few more hopitals and assessed further before a wider rollout.

Cineworld will continue to exist but not in it's current form. It will either go private, or stay as a PLC and issue new shares. Which will mean your current shares will carry less value. Worst case scenario is they issue new shares and totally wipe out all current holdings.

People are under the assumption that if the news is good at the end of the month then that would be it, we will win a nice big contract with the NHS and distribution will start straight away. Well, according to NICE there are further steps that will need to be taken. The test will need to be assessed by the NHS. Once approved, the test will then be rolled out in incremental amounts to a few hospitals while more testing is done, and more information gathered. They will then use the data to recommend improvements and further test it's accuracy. I think it will be a good few months before we can start talking about sales on a wider scale.

Must say I wasn't expecting to break 40 today, thought it would be a steady crawl up but we're starting to pick up momentum. We could be a pound sooner than we thought. Lovely jubbly.

Up she goes. Isn't it great when a plan starts coming together? Nice steady rise, all the way up until the end of the month. Getting close now to breaking even, and breaking news. If the results are good, and confirmation that we will be working with the NHS in rolling out the test, then I'll be holding for a lot longer. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Don't think for one minute that the current state of the economy and the collapse of the SV isn't affecting GDR. The SP would have been a lot higher if the economy wasn't so bad. I think we can and will (only if we are cleared to supply the NHS with the AIHL test) get to £1 but it will be more of a long slow crawl, rather than a rapid rise.

Here's another interesting one. We should be getting news for this soon too. This is just another example of the strong fundamentals this company has, if this is cleared for use in the NHS then it will more than likely go through in the US too. A huge market out there waiting for GDR. Genedrive is the future.

Well I don't think it will happen from now until the end of March. I don't want to put a dampener on things but like I said to someone earlier, nothing is guaranteed. I'm also invested in Omega Diagnostics who looked a dead cert to win a govt contract during covid. Well, it turned out that they didn't and the SP crashed. They've been down ever since. Things are looking good for GDR but like I said nothing is guaranteed. Only invest what you can afford to lose, then if you win you're laughing.

Our relatively small share allocation is actually a massive advantage. The less shares that are available the higher the SP rises.

Yes, and that’s the problem. You start to wonder how honest are they really being and why hasn’t drilling started at these these sites.

If you think this is bouncing back you need your head checked. The company has warned on numerous occasions that the possibility of shareholders being wiped out is very real. How many more red flags do you need?

Stop making dumb statements, if investing was that easy we’d all be stinking rich. Life ain’t and never will be that easy. Nothing is guaranteed when it comes to Stocks and Shares.

jamrock- How you gonna compare Yourgene to GDR? Yourgene have 3.5B shares compared to GDR's 92M shares? Even if GDR diluted another 50M shares at 50p they would raise 25M and still only have 140M shares outstanding. Very healthy numbers compared to Yourgene. Yourgene is a dog of a share that shouldn't be touched with a barge pole.

I'll say it again for the hard of hearing or for those that have difficulty understanding the concept of Fundraising and share dilution. Fundraising or share dilution does not always affect the SP negatively. If the funds are used to expand the business, then a fundraise or share dilution could actually have a positive effect on the SP. I've been in fundraises where the SP has actually shot up after the fundraise rather than go down. All these people going on about fundraising and share dilution either don't have a clue what they're going on about or are just trying to scaremonger. Take no notice, just dyor and follow your own instincts. If the results are good come end of month the SP for this share will most definitely go up regardless of whether there is share dilution or a fundraise. Hold on to your shares if you believe the news will be good and ignore the doubters.

Why is everyone so worried about a fundraise and dilution? If the tests are passed by NICE and we get a deal done with the NHS, then a fundraise and dilution won't necessarily be a bad thing. There are plenty of companies that have done fundraise and it has actually benefited the SP rather than hinder it. As long as the funds are being used for the right reasons and to support the business, then there's nothing to be overly concerned about. Relax and just enjoy where we are atm. Lots of hopefully positive news coming soon.

Dmash78 - By news I dont neccessarily mean an RNS, it could be that news leaks out about the results and rumours start circulating. If the rumours start next week this will affect the SP. The NICE final assessment will be published and go public on 30th March, if its in the public domain it will most definitely have to be RNS'd.

Things are really starting to hot up over here, news incoming, maybe as early as next week. If it doesn't, then the next few weeks will be very interesting to see how high this can go. Roll on next week.
