GDR are in a strong position now. Getting funding should be quite straightforward, I agree major institutes will most definitely want to get involved in what is a first in this particular area of the medical sector. We could even get free funding from the govt/NHS, or through sponsorships, if Budd and the team can sell the technology well. We might not even need a placing, if we can raise funds through those means.

Not going to happen, will close around 30 today. FTSE AIM is down today due to the GDP data that came out of Wall St this morning. It should tick up in the coming weeks. Talks of £1/£2 no chance, at least not in the near future. In six months maybe, but I see this around £1 maybe more by the end of the year. Just my opinion, as always dyor.

I can’t understand why people are still moaning about how the company is and has been run. They’ve just developed a ground breaking piece of kit and people are still not happy. I gather that’s because they bought in too high. You know the risks when investing especially when investing in penny stocks. If anyone was foolish enough to buy in when it went over a pound or even 80/90p then you only have yourself to blame. GDR is a penny stock so you buy in when it’s valued at pennies not pounds. There’s also been ample opportunities to average down when it was in the low teens and single digits. If you did you’d be well up now. DB didn’t put a gun to anyones head to buy into his company, you did through your own choice. In life you win and you lose. If you lose because you made mistakes, own it and stop blaming the CEO. He has done what he’s supposed to do. Now let’s just enjoy where we are today.

No way this is the CEO. With offices all over Europe he would not have chose to make such an announcement via a web forum, he would have done this via RNS. Some weird people out here.

If anyone dares to question his work ethic or the way he is running the company, you immediately accuse them of being bashers or liars. It's people like you why nothing ever changes. Gitfinger - The fact that there has been heavy investment from various Institutions, gives me a bit more hope that this will eventually come good. It would also be of great benefit if we could get the government involved by way of funding. I'm not sure why we haven't received any yet considering they are investing heavily in the development of green energy. This would help with production and help boost the SP.

Southerhay Yes I remember that, it was oversubscribed within a day or two predominately by institutional investors. PI's hardly got a look in. But that still didn't prevent the dilution of shares which in turn affected their value. If funds were raised through other means the SP would be a lot higher than it is today.

red_hornet How does a company raise money when they are running out of cash? They force shareholders to buy more shares by way of a Fundraise, otherwise there's the possibility the company could go under. So yes shareholders are forced to buy more shares, thereby decreasing the value of the shares.

You say I should take it up with the authorities if I think AB receives the money. Why would I do that when a PLC has every right to do a Fundraise? Also the company does receive the proceeds of a Fundraise. For someone who claims to know it all, you seem to know very little about the workings of a PLC. The only person that is making themselves a fool on here is you mate. Go brush up on your investment knowledge or find yourself a financial advisor. With the claptrap you've been coming out with your going to need it.

Once the market has had time to digest the news we should start creeping up over the coming weeks. If 30 becomes our new support level I'd be happy with that.

What has AB done with the £60M he took off shareholders a couple of years ago? He's made a few partnerships with companies here and there and leased a few towers, but what else? Some of you on here like Jimmynann maybe happy with progress so far but I certainly am not. He's spending £13M a year to run the company and that £60M is slowly dwindling down. £13M for 40 staff member and a couple of Towers? You do the Maths.

If you don't say anything and continue to lick the CEO's boots like Jimmynann does, then he will continue to rinse the Shareholders and wallow in mediocrity. It's just not good enough. Nothing will change if you stay silent and accept this nonsense. I hope he reads the comments on this forum and understands that shareholders are not happy with the current situation. He needs to start stepping up manufacturing and getting more meaningful deals done, as well as advertising and winning sponsorships. From what I can see he hasn't received any government funding to help with Development, and they are throwing money at Hydrogen companies. Just not good enough. Hope uour listening Mr Bond.

Most of GDR’s funding have come from sponsors not share dilution. You need to research a bit more thoroughly Sharebel.
