starresnstoff - I’m talking about the NICE fast rack accreditation which is a different project to the one conducted five years ago. That particular project ran for two years for which GDR received a 500K grant. The latest 900K we received last year was from the NICE project which started in 2022. As far as I’m aware there was no announcement made about that payment at least not that I’m aware of.

Starresnstoff - what on gods green earth are you on about, 5 years ago? We’re talking about funding from the NHS for the AIHL trials, which only started last year. What you doing investing over here if you don’t even understand the basic fundamentals of the company?

Veroptrix - Every long term holder of GDR will be fully aware of the future potential of GDR’s gene technology. It is already being trialled in stroke cases which will be even bigger than AHIL. We all know it was being used to save babies hearing since it was first trialled by Nice last year so thanks for stating the obvious. What we didn’t know was that we had received a grant by NICE last year. We will more than likely receive more funding to help with expansion which is great news for the company. This means the need for a Placing might not be necessary after all.

So the company has already received almost £1M in grants. So how come this wasn't announced or did I miss it? If they've already received a grant I see no reason why they wouldn't get one again now they're ready to expand. The Professor's in Manchester are raving about this piece of kit. A placing might not be necessary after all.

It's great news for the company but is it great news for the shareholders? I guess we'll find out around April 10th.

nissangtr786 - I take that back, and so you did. But to say you would take a 50p takeover bid right now is ludicrous. Even if I was to bail out of the stock at 50 which I wont, I would like to see the company valued at what it's worth and 50p just isn't it. The company is worth at least £2 per share or 200M MCAP.

Oh yes, fully expect this to rebound and very soon. What I find most shocking though, is with all the amount of claptrap being talked on this forum today, not one person has posted up the link of what is a transformational moment for the company. No congratulations to Mr Budd and the team for their excellent work and massive contribution to the medical industry.

Well I for one am very proud of the team and the dilligent work they have put into this project, and I'm not ashamed to share it with the world. So here it is, this is just the beginning.

Dear O Dear, didn't quite expect the SP to drop so low. I saw 35 today and thought we would close thereabouts. That's GDR for you it falls just as fast as it climbs. Oh well, not the end of the world, main thing is the news was good and that's all that counts. Now we have lots to look forward to. Any good news in the future will get the SP moving. I think the coming year will be a hell of a ride. Share volumes are still excellent so this could easily turn around at any moment. Unlike before where we had to wait ages before the SP started climbing again, I think now it will happen more frequently as news starts filtering through. It will really take off when the news falls into the public domain, and that could happen at anytime. We might not have got what we wanted this time around but I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunities, and we wont have to wait too long now.

I want AB gone, he's rinsed the company more than enough and has fleeced the shareholders for years. A paltry turnover of 700K after taking 60M off shareholders. The man is a walking disaster, and has a terrible track record. DYR, and get him out NOW.

Can some bright spark explain how AFC are managing to turnover only 700K a year, yet flittering away 13M per year with only 42 staff members, and before you tell me my numbers are incorrect take a look yourself.

I find it shocking that instead of fellow shareholders questioning and putting pressure on management to improve, they sit shouting from the rooftops how great the company is. No wonder AB is taking us for mugs and sp****** our money up the wall. some of you need to grow a spine. If this was a FTSE 100 or Nasdaq company shareholders would never stand for it. Outrageous.

Well, it looks like in the near team we will be rolling out 30,000 tests across the Manchester trusts. At £5,000 per machine and £80 per test, you can do the maths. It's not huge, but it's a start.

So tomorrow is the big day. I expected this to rise higher leading up to the publication date but it hasn't happened, at least not as high as I thought. Everyone including myself is expecting the news to be good. Whether this will make the SP rise again remains to be seen. GLA.

tvrandyshep - It's not a lie it's shown clearly on Google finance. When I say 200K that's 200K per quarter. Equates to a yearly turnover of 800K.

Apology accepted, and still want AB out. Like I said a couple hundred thousand income from an outlay of 60M is just not good enough. When are people going to wake up, this is not acceptable.

60M they've taken off shareholders in the last two years, and all we've got to show for it is a couple of potsy contracts not even worth half a million. Yet you'll have people coming on here shouting from the rooftops how great the company is. This is your money there flittering away yet you say nothing.
