I couldn’t care less how much they reap from Barbenheimer. The way shareholders have been treated throughout this whole debacle guarantees that I will never be going to or supporting any Cineworld cinemas from now onwards. I will also be advising family and friends to do the same.

Cineworld Stock is a Deadstock.

Been in. and out of this share many times before, it has always served me very well. Glad I bought in again last week, it’s obviously going in the right direction especially after that stunning RNS last week. The progress this company is making with cancer treatment is truly remarkable..

Just thought I'd have a quick look in the chat to see if I could find out if this is starting to move north again, and what is happening in general with the company. As usual, no one has anything constructive to add to the forum, instead you have a bunch of kids desperate for likes taking pops at each other for entertainment purposes.

Thats the thing with these cheap penny stocks forums. You don't get so much people talking so much rubbish with the more expensive stocks, people are more discussing the Share rather than constantly taking pops at each other. If people are down because they took a gamble on a penny stock, then they should just own it and swallow it, instead of coming on forums like these and taking their frustrations out on fellow investors. That just shows how thick they are. But back to the subject matter are we seeing a tunaround here, what do my fellow investors think?

Mr.kioto - I'm going by what happened in the General Motors case, I think Cineworld will have a similar outcome. As far as I know the UK arm of the company is operating under the UK's CVA rules, which provide protection for shareholders. If not then they will fall under CH11 rules, which will mean they are wiped completely out, or they will trade under a new name.

Emerald51 - Heres how I think it will go, the old shares will trade under a new name which will include all American, & Canadian shareholders, and the UK and maybe European shareholders will be able to transfer their old shares into the new company at a quota limit of 100:1. Which will mean that your current shares will be worth £450 in the new Cineworld. That's just my opinion but thats how I think it will go to satisfy the legal requirements in all countries.

@Ppet - I don’t care whether he buys shares in the company or not. What I want to see is year on year improvement in sales, and the business as a whole. These are the only things that will really improve the SP.

@Ade1234 - I was saying the same thing some months ago and got called a deramper, and that AB is doing a great job. I’m predicting the same, 10p within three months. Then Bond will be back again asking for more money from shareholders. He’s been rinsing the company and shareholders for years and some of the morons (probably shorters) on here still keep saying what a fantastic CEO he is.

They are not burning through 400K a month you numpty, it's 400k per quarter/3 months. The misinformation being spouted on this board is a joke.

Lee72 - I had a similar thought but more in line with what StanleyPro was saying. They could be deliberately dropping the SP so that if the court decides that shareholders are to be compensated then the amount they would receive would be miniscule compared to what the company has and will turnover in the future.

Willow5 - That's a very interesting article. There is a very key point in that article that stands out for me.. It says "any existing retail shareholders will be wiped-out in its debt restructuring plan as the movie theatre navigates its way out of Chapter 11 Bankruptcy Protection in the US and a CVA in the UK, following the cinema chain’s failure to find a buyer for its assets.

This is key for me, the UK arm of CINE is carrying out a CVA rather than a C11, which according to UK law means that the shareholders remain in control of the company and stand to benefit from its success. I could be wrong but it clearly states this under the UK CVA. So there's a chance that the UK shareholders could be saved while the US shareholders are wiped out. Like I said I could be wrong, but that's how the UK CVA works.

This is market manipulation at it's finest. MM's set whatever price they feel like. The AIM has to be the most corrupt market on the planet. Those thieves in shirts and ties always advising people to invest, yes thats right, invest in their most corrupt system.

People are obviously still trading the stock. Normally stocks move up on rumours and/or fundamentals.Maybe fundamentals have changed or there’s rumours of change.

Solid support at 18 which is far better than the 9,10's we saw back end of last year. It's a good sign that fundamentals have increased and the Market has taken notice. Obviously the support at 18 wont last forever without some form of good news.I'm sure we will get some soon. There's the FDA, the stroke test, and an update on Manchester rollout, so still plenty to look forward to.
