Alamo55 - The book has arrived and managed to get through a couple chapters. So far it's going in depth on how to read the accounts,and the most important figures to watch out for. It also gives tips on how to choose the right stock and the criterias for investing in that particular stock. He specialises in small to medium-sized stocks which is right up my street. Some interesting and relevant information that I think a few on here would benefit from.

Guy - I swear you have a reading difficulty. I said from pre covid 20p to £2, but I see how you deviously spin and twist it to something else. Even though it has come down again, it also does go back up. It's just that we are in the middle of a bear market, so it wont go up as much as everyone expecting.

With so much confusion over the legitamacy of a US chapter 11 against a company that resides in the UK, shouldn't the FCA be getting involved in this? How can the laws in one country supersede the laws around bankruptcy in another country?

Guy_incognito - You obviously dont know what your talking about? Compared to other AIM companies dilution over here is minimal. Go and look at other AIM companies and see how much shares they have on the market. If you bought into the sshare in 2021 they didn't have a product then, so why for the life of me did you buy in. GDR is a R&D compny who are trying to get products onto the market. If you didnt know that then you obviously didnt do your due dilligence before parting with your money.

You say he has shafted shareholders, how has he done that? the SP has risen to almost £2 from precovid 20p, plenty of opportunity to make gains. But you obviously haven't made any so now blame the CEO for your own misfortune. Try to improve your trading skills rather than sitting here all day blaming everyone else for your own mistakes. Alamo55 - I have gone over GDR's and been watching their accounts for the last few years. I'm no expert on reading accounts, but from what I can see the company is in an okay if not great financial position. They have been debt free for the last five years up until the recent equity loan. I will alaso agree as that contrary to what a lot of posters post on here, I actually think the CEO does have the shareholders best interest at heart, and he does that by minimising share dilution as best he can. We still have a very healthy number of shares on the market that hasn't been heavily diluted. For me Genedrive although a small company are financially sound and have very good fundamentals. The AIHL being rolled out further across more hospitals, is big step forward for the company and strengthens its market value.

I personally hope we fall into chapter 7, that way they would have no choice but to sell for a penny lol, then another company with a lot more know how will snap them up. That way us shareholders will be able to live to fight another day.

You obviously haven't had much experience with pharmaceutical stocks. Developing tests and treatments takes years to come to market, you should know that. I've seen far worse CEO's than Budd. Not saying he's great, but at least he has managed to develop a product that sells.

We should have had a response back from the pre-sub application though. That process normally takes 15 days. Budd is typically very slow when updating shareholders with this type of thing. The fact that he’s silent means the response hasn’t been good or the damn thing hasn’t been submitted yet. Bud likes to comment on this forum, so if he’s listening, “where we at with the pre-sub Mr Budd? PI’s would like to know”.

It will probably be better for shareholders if the company fell into chapter 7. That way we would get a buyer who’d swoop in and sort out the mess left behind by moody. I hope the lenders reject the current plans.

The FDA approval process can take between one week and eight months, depending on whether you self-register, submit a 510(k) application or submit a Premarket Approval (PMA) application. Bringing a medical device to market is not a fast process in US.

Just a reminder in case anyone's forgotten, and to all the naysayers that are saying this test is not going to be used by the NHS. It may and it may not, it could go spectacularly wrong, something could just pop up that no one was expecting. We could get news that the NHS no longer wants to expand the test and are going for other options, you just never know, that's the way stocks can go, I've seen it many times. But this one looks nailed on at the minute and here's just one of the reasons why. I'm sure nearly everyone must have seen it by now.

Of course GDR are and have made sales from AIHL, you don’t think they are supplying the hospitals for free do you? It’s just that the sales are so small, they choose not to announce it, and they are not under any obligation to either. It’s not the most accurate but you can go to Google finance and see for yourself that GDR are generating sales be it very small. With the test being rolled out more widely now, sales are expected to increase.

Anyone getting involved with this share, knows what they getting themselves into. A very volatile stock that can drop and rise fast. Everyone has had ample opportunities to make good returns, it's about getting your timing right, knowing when to buy and sell. All the people crying and moaning everyday about the Bod, most likely made bad decisions and are now heavily underwater. I've made some myself but I dont sit down bi..... and complaining about it, I'm the one that made the decision, no one put a gun to my head, you have to own that s... Anyone getting involved with the medical sector should know full well that medicines, treatments, and tests can take a very long time to get clearance to distribute to the public. They have to be tested and retested over a long period of time, data has to be collected and they have to see how well or not so well the treatment works over said time. So it's no good moaning and complaining how long it's taking you know the score So far the company has got a product that has finally got their foot in the door, it's a start. It might not be going at the speed everyone would like, but Rome wasn't built in one day. I'm quite content with my position even though I'm down, and I'm happy with what the company has achieved so far for a small company. If you want a bigger more industrious company then go buy into a company with a bigger MCAP and more expensive shares, or better still, sell up and get lost.

Sorry to burst your bubble but after a bit of research from the NICE Assessment Programme, it looks like this particular test will not be receiving any funding, well at least not from the NHS. Maybe from Devote but not the NHS. At first I thought it would, but after careful reading it looks like they wont. The Q&A was as follows:

Who are the commissioners in this case? Is there going to be a choice to implement or not? Some of the phrases used in this document appear to suggest that there will be.

The aim of early value guidance is to provide quicker conditional recommendations from NICE on promising medical technologies while uncertainty in their evidence base is being addressed. NICE guidance produced by the diagnostics assessment programme does not carry a funding mandate and so centres will have a choice of whether to implement this test or not. NICE is working with NHS England on how the conditional recommendation for use resulting from an EVA could be used to support commissioning decisions in the NHS. Absolutely Bruno10, a pretty pointless exercise as if there going to tell Joe Bloggs what there plans are. Smacks of desperation if you ask me. Fingers crossed should be some funding news soon.
