Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
Now that's a ramp and a half Captain!!
He will need to clarify a plan of some sort at the AGM. This update on spud just doesnt cut it anymore.
More info needed to support price.
Agree, they need to give an update on where the rig is at present. is it still up, ready to go or what. This would help price no end, still so much uncertainty!
Where did he say 3 weeks, in your head?
It's on at 9am London time, 4pm local...Go to bed!
Something gives me the feeling we're going to get bad news tomorrow on SL. They will hide it within a positive update on non-commercial oil and spud date on WH, or something like that! Similar to Block XX news in the half year report!
Yes loads of wiggle room for the cowboys to work within, currently a small army of them in the British O&G onshore sector. I would imagine any respectable company would not like to be aligned with such, and so would act professionally.
Absolute nonsense, if they have hit TD at Snow Leopard, de-rigged the drill and are moving site without informing the market I would consider them nothing short of cowboys!!..That would be extremely unprofessional. They dont have free gratis to do what they like, they are legally obliged to inform the market of price sensitive information.
Because they would have a lot of civil engineering ground works to be completed before its arrival. It cant just park up in the middle of a field. Whats worse we were not even told that this work had commenced or finished yet. We seen what happened at AAOG when this work is done half ar$ed!
It would be a very poor sign of communication if any rig is on the move and investors are not informed, very poor indeed.
Or they could just be slow and drilling away at 40m/day??
Volumes are so low, have been for weeks. Positions have been taken!
Id like to agree Hamm, but we dont even know if they've finished drilling, let alone testing?
John,
Here is the rest of it, seem to have missed it:
The AGM notice and form of proxy will be posted in due course to shareholders who have opted for hard copy communications and shareholders who have signed up to the Company's electronic communications service will receive notification by email.
The Company has been notified by Dr. Oyungerel Janchiv, Non-Executive Director, that she intends to retire from her position on the Board in order to spend more time pursuing her other interests. Dr. Oyungerel was instrumental in the formation of the company and has served on the Board for 13 years including 10 years since the IPO. She will step down at the forthcoming AGM with her resignation then being immediately effective.
Dr Oyungerel's position on the Board is on the nomination of Petrovis Matad Inc, the Company's largest shareholder, who have indicated that they shall be nominating a replacement Director. Details of this appointment, which will be subject to completion of regulatory checks, will be notified once available.
The Company also announces that it is seeking to strengthen the Board with the appointment of a further independent Non-Executive Director. A search has already begun and an announcement in this regard will also be made in due course.
The RNS on the 24th of July was primarily to confirm board changes which it intended to be ratified at the AGM on the 2oth of September.
The AGM was then confirmed on the 24th of August.....47 days into the drill.
Its there in the post Captain, you ridiculously claimed investing is gambling, I advised you it is not.
Have another read there.
Yes, speculation and gambling are different even by their definition:
"Speculation and gambling are two different actions used to increase wealth. Gambling refers to wagering money in an event that has an uncertain outcome in hopes of winning more money, whereas speculation involves taking calculated risk in an uncertain outcome".
Investing is effectively gambling??..You do know the difference between investing and speculating, ya?
Investing is not gambling.
Very few on the AIM are investing....we are all speculating.
As much as i would like to go to the AGM, and visit Ulaanbaatar, I will not be able to make it.
It is in Mongolia, in the Sky Tower Thursday at 4pm, which is 9am London time.
Come back down to us Hamm!!..Your flying too high!!
Foe what its worth, 30-35p on SL and £1.20 on WH...Thats my estimate.
Some random dude, who you have no idea even exists, post on twitter and you're giving it credence?
The ability of critical thinking is fast becoming a skill in the UK!!
