Mediman I think it is highly likely we will receive an update before the New Year simply due to how fast QBT are moving. FG stated in the rns "he expected the structure shipped to Italy NEXT week not only to support infrastructure from our R&D team but also our big mining note so we will start to basically mine using our experimental algorithm's as soon as 2021 next year".
If we are starting in January surely we will be informed prior to this possibly on several rns fronts by Xmas.

I would go with TMSC as Insiderknowledge is spot on about density, the charts on density from the big 5 prove that a 10nm chip can outperform a 7nm if it has a higher density. Also TMSC are totally focused 100% on being a manufacturer of semiconductors. No problem with Samsung whatsoever but they are 'diluted' in their focus for no other reason than making millions of tv's, mobile phones and a miriad of other products, all excellent quality I might add! and South Korea an excellent safe working administrative country after all said and done so I would put TMSC 1st and Samsung 2nd in my own personal choice and that is all it is :¬)

I am intrigued as to which one of the big 5 semiconductor fabrication plants we may have access to, I have looked at them all and the Taiwan based TMSC emphasises the international title when describing the company's status.
Francesco Gardin made a point in the rns of stating the NDA is with an 'leading International Bitcoin mining equipment manufacturer'.
I fully accept there are only 5 semiconductor fabrication plants Globally that are privy to the technical capable of producing 5nm chips and so could all be classed as international but TMSC appear to make a point of that in their title company description.
Just a bit of fun on a Sunday morning but I do get a gut feeling this is the company we are getting in to bed with ( hopefully! ) and for no more reason I wonder if FG has subconsciously and unwittingly labelled their description in the rns as to how they promote themselves on their company website. It doesn't matter in the bigger picture but as I say just intrigued and a bit of fun which should not affect the outcome irrespective who the NDA is with.

Also worth re-iterating not only is the expectation 100% increase in the mining speed to the current leading International Bitcoin miner manufacturer this is BEFORE taking into account the optimisations of a 2nd patent under development, which are YET to be factored in!
So the Asic Ultraboost (QBT'S baby ) will then do its magic (24% +7% ) in addition to whatever speed we achieve from the 5nm chips. I believe there were expectations of even more uplifts from the Ultraboost as we moved through the patents. Just saying :¬)

When you look at the Nov 05th RNS stating 7nm chips being favoured FG has not only moved away from that but secured a deal with a major International supplier and done it in 3 weeks.
The added access to 5nm technology and (the best and significance bit) this major player will 'support our design team' which, when you digest it, works both ways.
The major international supplier has obviously been impressed with where QBT currently are and the direction they are taking to be happy to hand over the latest 5nm technology which is only available to 5 companies ( i believe ) worldwide and therefore leads me to deduce there may well be a 'Farm - In' or takeover or a deal further down the line between us and them. Certainly it will be seen as a huge benefit to both parties, just my take on reading between the lines.
The speed of this from Nov 05th is breathtaking in Industry terms.

FigTree absolutely mate agree 100% with the production and reduced costs, especially energy saving, didn't rtealise the energy consumption for bitcoin mining is greater than the whole of the country of Poland, FACT. Mind boggling when you think about it.

Steve8 and some of the buys higher than the full ask lol it doesn't matter as we are due the 2nd patent news soon and if it comes in as expected @24% faster mining capability then mm's will not be able to hold it back at this level.

Suthy, thanks for getting back and apologies for the late reply, a decent holding considering 1m share cost £30k+. Also it's a hard one to predict sp wise because i don't see an sp somewhere in the middle because it will either work or it won't quantum being what it is research wise.
If the research fails we will not move from here but if the Asic Ultra Boost meets expectations it will not settle circa 25p / 30p but re-rate to £££'s due to the current low MarCap.
Difficult to explain or put in to words what I mean but what would give us an sp of 25p, it's not thing or another Company or success wise. ( I haven't been drinking, honest )

Suthy, hi mate your 08:53 post working towards your target holding, just being nosey as to what you currently hold and what target figure you are aiming for. No offence meant and no problem if you don't want divulge or deem it personal. I am holding just shy of 4m and would like more but monitoring risk / reward before i accrue more by waiting to see if Patent No2 is successful in achieving the expected 24% faster status.
And yes i will have to pay a higher price for any top ups but one thing AIM has taught me is that nothing is a no brainer no matter how likely.

Headquarters in Milan, now there's a surprise, 150 branches and several thousand employees. Well done Alessandro, this is a big gun and will get Syme noticed and a big boost to your credibility in Italy and the MENA Region.
Things will rapidly come together now and I suspect a fair few more RNS's by Xmas. SP only going one way now, just wish I had more funds to add at this level.

As early as next week and its a pretty heavy patent content wise so a possible FOMO today with the buys, I am fully loaded but if I did have spare funds and was waiting to get in I would not faff about at this sp or stage of patents due for the sake of timing a 0.1p difference get in price!

FigTree as usual excellent post on bullet points, numerous ones already actioned ( Tick ) but you could have added (Lol ) the expected 8 -9 m Euro's hitting the coffers ( hopefully ) from the Sipiem Court Ruling I would like to think by Dec 22 to enhance and extend to 2023 our current position of being fully funded for the whole of next year even without it :¬)

FigTree it's a tiny MarCap and whilst a slightly different company set up I actually think we have far more potential than Arb, I really do. If we get to self mining and are a target for a takeover from one of the big guns, although I think we will be strong enough to go it alone if FG desires, then in the Blockchain / Crypto world a MarCap of £915m ( the golden £1 sp ticket ) will not even raise eyebrows. Lets get the other Patents sorted.
