It is important to remember that its not just the size of the chip, a 10nm chip can be faster than a 7nm, a 7nm faster than a 5nm depending on what algorithm / programming system is used ( my words ).
There will always be competitors and yes density is one of the most important factor in the chips but Intel are not going to cease production if Samsung take the lead, they will try to better it.

QBT don't get 100% but we should still see circa $5m - $6m net. That has to be good and will go a long way in helping to balance the accounts / R&D spend etc.

Just realised today is the 60 days for all parties to file their final written arguments to the report ( May 04th Venice Court Hearing ). Just leaves another 20 days for parties to file their written replies. Then that is it, it will be down to the Courts to reach a judgement.

Even with the slow Italian procedures we will know the outcome before the end of the year, and high expectations of a fair few $m hitting our coffers.

I think 2 Global companies, Japan & USA saw enough 'proof' to snap FG's arm off in signing an NDA on the spot and allowing QBT teams to integrate with their own.

Guys, am I the only one who thought the update rns on 23rd May was actually extremely detailed of what was going on and what would be going on for the next couple of months or so. If you read it again you will see that FG basically detailed everything he could and the results and patent filing would be done in his words 'as soon as is practicable', not soon.
He stated testing with both Method A and Method B regarding bitcoin testing / experimental mining. He stated about the patents and the delay due to an improvement in performance of the patent they were going to initially file.
He talked about the future of quantum computers having the processing power / number of qubits to cope with our fully sized SHA 256 algorithm.
Re read and not sure what else he could have put in an rns without the results which he stated would be in a few months and that he appreciated our patience regarding this.

Exactly Garwool, and the financial award from the Sipiem court case will see most of our debt wiped out in an instant and is expected to be received before year end.

QBT will receive at least $5m from the Sipiem court case, ruled in our favour, before the year end. We are not doing too badly and no cause for concern.

Yes a long slog but the copper grades in the last 2 rns's are extremely good and at surface or near surface, whole % grades are to die for and the price of copper expected to rise considerably near term. The gold grades are not exceptional but could be used to assist costs, as is the norm in gold / copper plays.
We will get a JORC hopefully in a few months and if positive and poroduction given the go ahead then the sp should see a decent rise.
Most likely still a few months to wait but not a lot of point selling now if the expected happens. I have put mine in the bottom drawer as I did with GGP and it paid off to be patient but each to their own.

Guys you have touched on it and swerv post @12.54 yesterday, FG stated they are having to wait for the industry to catch up and this is in regards to a Quantum Computer having enough qubits to be able to process QBT's latest algorithm so on that score we are miles ahead of what is out there. That for me speaks volumes about the quality and intellectual capability of the staff FG has built around him.
As already stated we are mining with the standard FPGA / SHA 256 chips and that should bring some success but make no mistake if a quantum computer is produced ( likely next year 2023 ) that has enough qubits to handle our algorithm then QBT will be top dog and I wouldn't bet against NEC ( MarCap $1.4tn ) not letting us out of their clutches and a mega deal announced.
I know people are getting impatient but for me a year seems to go in a blink of an eye and I am excited to sit on my hands and see what unfolds.

On past performance this deal has happened pretty damn quick, only 4 mths since AZ announced via rns on Feb 18th. It might not be a runaway snowball effect but it will ripple out across the Shariah & MENA regions and others will follow. There is no going back, only forward irrespective of the pace.

That's my reasoning for dipping my toe in, hopefully a decent sp rise sometime in the future considering we are fairly low at the moment. I have learned the hard way that its best to take modest gains when you can and not be too greedy.

macg, that was me, I am dipping my toe in the water to see where we go from here. I am looking fairly long term but having been invested in GGP I can say the copper grades in the last rns are extremely good and it is essentially a copper play, the gold will be a bonus and probably help fund costs but as I have said whole % grades in copper are very good for any miner.

Certainly finance will not be an issue with NEC / USA companies to fulfil any necessary programs to achieve goals, this is probably what Francesco was hinting at with the industry 'step change' that could be brought about. Even if we achieve the algorithms to do so we will need the necessary muscle to put into operation. NEC are probably excited at possibly being able to outgun Intel with a system that should have come out of their own back yard.
If it is QBT, and listening to FG's terminology I genuinely believe it is, then NEC will not 'let' anyone else steal their position and should move heaven and earth in securing a deal with us, even if it means they will make us an offer we can't refuse!

Addison as per your link @ 10:56 it practically tells us that our NDA agreement with Global Japanese Company is pretty much nailed on to be NEC (MarCap $1.4tn ) as we were using D-Wave annealing process and suddenly had 2 NDA'S signed in the same week, 1 with Japan & 1 with USA.
Just would like to know who our NDA agreement in the USA is with.
Either way success will catapult us in to the bn's if we do a deal with either / both.

I am also looking to attend the AGM., always seem to get a better feel of the situation attending meetings in person than reading up on the resolutions in printed form, certainly has been the case with other AGM's I have attended in the past with various companies.

Francesco Gardin did state "We want to be fastest miner on planet" or words to that effect, therefore I think he will resist a takeover as much as he possibly can, could see a JV if acceptable terms with either of the current 2 NDA majors, I really believe he is relishing the challenge of causing a 'step change' to the bitcoin mining sector and will keep the golden goose but may give away the golden eggs.
Time will tell of course, lets just prove up a bitcoin block first as a solo miner , that will be transformational in itself company wise imo.
