I think Francesco would have had someone lined up / knew who the NED was at the time of his announcement but my guess is they have not taken on the role yet. He did state it would be a few months and also it would probably be announced via an rns with the expected employment start date.

The last paragraph states it could be applied to the cosmos or neurology, no mention of the crypto world which I would have thought if it was pertinent to us would have had a reference of sorts, no matter how small.

I actually believe that Francesco may well extend the repo but agree 100% with Jambone that it will be nothing more than he does not have the cash at this moment in time. It also bodes a good understanding and confidence from all involved that it is extended on the back that soon the sp will be considerably higher than what it is now.

I hold a decent amount of shares here but one thing that AIM has taught me over the years is to keep your feet firmly on the ground and expectations realistic.

To that effect as and when results are released whilst I expect an increase in speeds relating to the chip capabilities to supersede anything currently known within the market it may be akin to 30% or so and that we will continue to increase the speeds as the year unfolds.

To a solo miner whether it be Argo, Hive or Bitfarm this is a huge incentive to increase your bitcoin yields by 30% a month whilst at the same time decreasing your energy savings pro-rata.

I expect news releases at frequent intervals relating to Patents, NDA agreements, becoming a solo miner ourselves, not forgetting the 2 original NDA's with Global Japanese & USA companies, infrastructure / chip / rig production and funding deals via Peter Fuhrman, the possibilities are numerous culminating hopefully with the use of our SHA 256 algorithm applied to a quantum computer, hopefully next year when the industry catches up, and placing us at the top of the tree.

My point is sometimes it is prudent to manage ones expectations that Rome was not built in 1 day, but built it was, becoming one of the largest empires in history, QBT can become that within the bitcoin industry.

DSFLAT, that's a fair comment, what I will find interesting above all else is the position of RKBeekeeper once news arrives, he basically put his reputation on the line and I am intrigued as to his response if news is not as we all hope as he certainly promoted success / results as a done deal. We shall see.

Addison, just to add, if positive news during an rns in suspension we would open at 8am at a re-rated sp ( on resuming trade ). There would not be a chance to buy in as the rise would be a vertical line, if transformational news, to an sp of what the MarCap is believed to be worth on the news.
Not many of you will remember a company, ticker name GON, they were suspended and people locked in were suicidal as they thought the company was finished / going in to liquidation, once suspension was lifted at 8am that day the sp went up 6,000%, yes a multiple of x 60!
My point is the sp line was as vertical as you could get and went to the moon, the rise was instant, an electronic push of a button.#
Just to add GON went bust a few mths later but it's the best re-rate in 5 terms I have ever witnessed, and no I was not invested unfortunately :¬(

Suthy, yes but not only that governments are now speaking out about taking a step forward with regards to crypto currency, with safeguards and legislation, as they now see it as an inevitability. Rishi Sunak is a big advocate of crypto / blockchain, as is the current Deputy Governor to the Bank of England.

Hi Suthy I don't think it is a coincidence that as I stated yesterday BLACKROCK with $10 Trillion funds under asset management ( world's largest fund manager ) have announced they are coming on board with bitcoin and therefore all the clients they have on their books are available to invest part of their portfolio in to the cryptocurrency markets. Even 1% equates to a $100bn shot in the arm for bitcoin.
It also sends a message of confidence that bitcoin / crypto is here to stay, along with anything blockchain of course.

It was pretty clear in the May RNS, for me at least, that we ( QBT ) had got what they wanted from D-Wave from a learning prospective, I actually read it at the time that we had basically gleaned everything we wanted and I won't say we 'used' them but took the bits we wanted and realised this helped our R&D guys move forward and add to it. It read that there was nothing else to be gained from continuing with D-Wave, hence the term 'suspended' was used, and we were on a trajectory of even greater technological findings than anything that was available.
Moving on therefore is a big plus in my book and just shows how we are ahead of anything we come across.

I see Blackrock, largest asset fund manager in the world dipping their toes in the world of cryptocurrency, starting with bitcoin, that's a confidence boost as to whether or not they see crypto being here to stay.

Well it looks like the NDA with the North American Company is not D-Wave then. Still hoping the Japanese NDA is with NEC. Shouldn't be too long before all is revealed.
